My final tile has been laid 😭✨ A year and a half after these tiles first arrived & this crazy project started, the last piece to the puzzle has now been complete & we are just one stage away from the finish line 🎉 This table has had such a positive impact on my life & my mindset, it’s fuelled up the fire in me to create more, dream bigger & just give even more seemingly crazy ideas a go It honestly fills me with absolute JOY knowing that so many of you have been inspired to try mosaicing after seeing this This week the final reveal will be coming, can you guess which grout colour I went for?✨ #mosaic #mosaicart #mosaics #mosaictiles #mosaico Mosaic mosaics art handmade craft arts dining table colour colourful decor home style decor whimsy whimsical tiles tile by @la_sidhu

Finallllllyyyyy…. I’m back 🎉 WOW is all I can say where this project is concerned 🤪 There have been SO many twists & turns to get to this stage & I feel it’s good to show the good & the bad, the trails & errors & the highs & lows …. There have been MANY 🫠 Initially, the first batch of tiles I had were a job lot secondhand so what i definitely did not envision was running out of the most crucial colour (white) mid background & then just having no clue as to what tiles I needed to restock up 🙈 I tried endless samples, laid some out of desperation to get the table finished & eventually then spent hours pulling them all up as they just didn’t feel 100% right THEN….. The most bizarre thing happens & it still blows my mind now when I look back 🤯 I honestly can’t get over the change?! I have felt really unsure if I’ve ruined all my hard work. It’s such a contrast to the first half of the installation - I’m really in two minds 🤷🏽‍♀️😭 #mosaic #mosaicart #mosaics #mosaicos #diningtable Mosaics mosaic art tile upcycle handmade tiles thrifted whimsy whimsical decor dining table homeware by @la_sidhu

IM BACK 👋🏽 Wow. I cannot actually believe how many people have seen & followed along what started as just a passion project idea amongst the mental struggles I have found myself in through motherhood 🥹 It’s reached thousands & thousands of people all across the world & it’s given me such a boost to bring this piece to life as best I can ♥️ With a few delays from running out of tiles, to having to get them colour matched (the first batch I brought were a second hand buy without any colour coding info) to Easter holidays & finding very little time to create Most segments have been completed once the children were in bed & it was dark so a little difficult to film 🙃 The background was such a HUGE area to fill & hundreds & hundreds of tiles to cut, so there will be another part to this installation & do you know the weirdest part? I actually ended up doing a completely different mosaic method for the second half & it quite literally shows the contrast of how I started as a beginner to this craft & then evolved through the process! It’s literally crazy how you can see it so clearly on the table 😮 It tells a story that’s for sure ♥️ Now onto the grout colour choices & such a BIG decision to make …. Do I go for: Black Brown Terracotta or Golden Dust? 🌞✨ #mosaic #mosaicart #mosaics #diningtable #mosaico Mosaics mosaic tiles art recycle upcycle thrifted interior decor handmade dining table homeware taken in London, United Kingdom by @la_sidhu

Creative corner pending 🌈🌈 When we moved In 4 years ago, this centrally based room in the house was originally a sitting room Having lived for 18 months with triplets in a very confined space, it was honestly a dream come true being able to have a safe space that we could adapt into being a lovely little playroom for them ♥️ Now the girls are 5 & doing 37391 hurdles of baby gates are a thing of the past, this room just needs a refresh A cosy, creative little space where people can go for crafting, quiet time, reading or just enjoy together💕 I’m SO happy we got to repurpose the 4 bookcases into something new & now we have much needed storage to keep the room as clutter free as poss ✨ I ADORE the work of @mestizmx @yannrehaan & @o_incerti & the way they weave so much detail & character into their creations so I’m going to attempt my own ceiling mural packed with personality & print …. I hope 🤞🏽 This series will take you through the journey of bringing my vision to life, full of colour, creativity & quirks & a lot of thrifted treasures too 🌈 Sooooo…. I’d love to know what you think so far? Can you see the vision? ✨ Ft my fave DIY overalls by @mybritches (pr) #ceilingmural #art #folkart #mural #wallart by @la_sidhu

Well well well…. What can I say 🙈 After randomly visiting a charity shop last Wednesday & falling a little bit in love with a tiled table, I left table-less I woke up the next day with the table on my mind, but after calling the charity shop to see if they could reserve it for me & finding out they couldn’t, I wasn’t sure we would be reunited again! The next day, the table was still firmly in my thoughts, but I just couldn’t travel for the next few days to make it mine 3 days later I called AGAIN & they told me it was still there, they couldn’t hold it for me all day, but they would put a *reserved* sticker on it for just the morning as I said I wouldn’t be able to get there until Saturday late afternoon (which conveniently was when my husband & children were away for the day 😉) And there she was ♥️ And special thanks to my wonderful Mum who gets dragged into all of these ridiculous escapades & still loves me 😂 Now…… shall we place bets for how long it’s going to take for it to be noticed?! 🤫 #charityshopfinds #tiles #coffeetable #thriftedstyle #mosaicart by @la_sidhu
