The Last Ride.

My last State Meet & track season is one I’ll never forget. It’s hard to put into words how emotional it is knowing this chapter is coming to an end. Track has been so much more than a sport to me it has been my escape, my peace, and at times the thing that kept me going when life got hard.

While my open event didn’t go the way I wanted, I’m grateful to have ended my high school career as a state medalist in the 4x4. After all the challenges, setbacks, and adversity I’ve faced, I’m proud to say I made it through. This journey taught me resilience, strength, and how to keep going even when things weren’t easy.

Thank you to all of my coaches for believing in me more than I believed in myself at times. Your support and confidence in me meant everything. And a special shout out to my brother. Branden, thank you for keeping me together behind the scenes and always believing in me, even when I doubted myself.

Although this chapter is ending, my journey isn’t over. I’m blessed to continue my track career in college and carry everything this sport has taught me into the next chapter.
