Hi my name is Soya. My childhood dream was to have a library at home. My late grandpa had a library, so I was inspired by him. Currently, it's my mission to make that dream come true. Let's see if I can achieve that dream. by @laamaalif

🎀This book was a good read it’s engaging! Anyone who loves cats or stray animals will enjoy it. I especially loved the relationship between the cat Freiza and Jeba it’s really cute. Overall the story was pretty good except for the ending. It felt a bit funny to me kids might find it scary but it wasn’t really my cup of tea🎀

I'M HAUNTED BY HUMANS

This Book also has a movie! 📢

🎀DEVASTATING. I’m devastated and guess what? I knew it would happen. Death warned me I would be and yet it still destroyed me. How is that even possible? When you know you’re going to be sad that you’re going to cry you think you’re ready for it but when it actually happens it still hits just as hard.

It took me four months to finish this book. Why? Because I’m a coward when it comes to its ending. I didn’t want to finish it. I didn’t want to read the last part the ending I already knew from the beginning.

The book is narrated from Death’s point of view who literally spoils everything for you… and yet you still feel every single moment.

These characters will stay etched in my heart every single one of them. Specially my beloved Lemon Haired Boy 🍋

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak narrated by Death follows Liesel Meminger a young girl growing up in Nazi Germany. She finds comfort from the horrors of war by stealing books and learning to read with her foster father.

Not our usual 21st February visit to Amar Ekushey Book Fair, not the usual pile of books either… but seeing putul nach live made the day special!🎭📚

♡ In the 3rd-4th pic Bidyanondo Prokashoni shows how libraries are shutting down due to the loss of readers, as people now prefer reading book quotes on social media instead of reading actual books.

Human happiness is very relative

🎀First of all I bought this book second hand. When I opened it I found a birthday wish written for the previous owner yk how it feels to discover something like that in a pre loved book! Though I must admit I don’t really like it when people give away gifts they’ve received.

As for the book itself I’d say it’s a one time read. The story is suspenseful and definitely makes you think since it’s a psychological novel. The male lead struggles with schizophrenic delusions and is constantly lost in his own imaginary world which honestly felt relatable to me in a slightly unsettling way. However as the story approached the end it started to feel repetitive almost as if I was reading the same lines over and over again. Overall it’s a good book but more suited for a one time read🎀

The story revolves around a character named Nirob and his intense, perhaps dangerously obsessive, relationship with Shobnom. The plot explores themes of a "dream-heaven" (Shopnoshorgo), suicidal ideation for the sake of love, and a, suspenseful investigation into a potential murder plot.

BIRTH IS A BIG MESS EVEN MORE TRAGIC THAN DEATH

🎀Crying on a public bus wasn’t on my bucket list 🤣😭 but this book did that to me. Not exactly from sadness maybe it was sadness but I think it was more about feeling all the emotions at once. I picked this book to break a 2–3 month reading slump and it was amazing. It felt like home…. It’ll make you feel everything all together. Loved it maybe I’ll read it again.

It’s the author’s second novel you could call it part two of Nondito Noroke (নন্দিত নরকে). They’re not directly related but if you loved one you’ll love the other🎀

Shonkhonil Karagar is a Bengali novel by the renowned Bangladeshi writer Humayun Ahmed, first published in 1973. It’s a touching story about family, love, and the emotional “prisons” people build around their hearts.

🎀Imagine you’re 32 unmarried and your Asian parents are mentally torturing you for it 🤣 Then you meet your long forgotten next door neighbor who used to be your friend so forgotten you didn’t even remember him and you jokingly propose marriage. And then? Boom. You’re on your honeymoon in the freaking first chapter! And the rest is history.

What a fun read 😭 I loved it! It was sooo much fun to read. Jia was the best I loved her she’s my spirit animal. And about our hero Mincheol he’s a giant hot teddy bear. That’s it I don’t wanna spoil you 😉

This whole story felt raw and so realistic with its own hilarious sense of humor. I’ll miss it so much It’s the kind of read that lifts your mood and makes you feel better because you literally can’t stop laughing your ass off. I’ll definitely reread it whenever I think about it🎀

REMEMBER---DRINK THE COFFEE BEFORE IT GOES COLD

🎀After finishing it I was in tears 😭 You gotta have some tissues with you before you start reading. It wasn’t a sad book but it’s the kind of book that makes you feel things deep in your heart. It’s so heart touching that you won’t even notice when the characters slowly grow close to you and before you know it you’re crying with them🫀

Moreover the book starts off feeling a little distant but gradually the characters become friends to your heart without you even realizing it 😉. It was a short yet beautiful book to end the year with🎀

Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi is about a magical Tokyo café where customers can time travel, but only under strict rules.

This book also has a movie! 📢

🎀I didn’t know much about this book or pay it much attention at first, but once I started reading, I finished it in one sitting it was worth it. I didn’t know it was Humayun Ahmed’s first book. The book is very raw and shows the reality of middle class family life their situations, and struggles what happens in the ordinary yet extraordinary. It’s a short book that everyone should read at least once. Maybe I’ll read it again🎀
