About the song:
Right Person is a song about romantic love, the oft misaligned timing of affection, and the idealized notions we have around marriage and family as our younger selves. Ultimately it can be a story with a happy ending, or the revisiting of an unrequited or terminal romance. One which cycles back as they do through rosey distortions in the rearview mirror of memory and nostalgia.

Before you ask, it’s not about me😆 But also, is probably about most of us in some way or another if you’ve ever been in and out of love. A love song!

Hey community,

Remember how our July Music on the Farm event was cancelled due to wildfire smoke? Well, we’ve decided to schedule a make-up date for that event, and it has been set for Thursday, October 15th!

So mark your calendars for another night of music in the field this season. The guest artist(s) are still being determined, but @laamarmusic will be taking the mic once again!

@parralily_foodtruck will be joining us at the farm too, so you can plan on dinner and a show 🧺🎤🎶

Thanks to all who came out to our first Music on the Farm event of the season on Thursday night! We really weren’t sure how many people would show up, but the evening turned into a beautiful gathering of neighbors close and far. There was a steady line outside @parralily_foodtruck, kids were playing peekaboo in the prairie grasses, dogs and people alike were lounging on blankets, folding chairs, and the picnic tables, and of course musicians @laamarmusic and @nat.harvie kept us in our feels with their musical performances. What a night!

It felt special to remember how fulfilling it is to bring people together in our space. I guess the community was hungry for a free, family-accesible event, so they really showed up for it! 🫶

We can’t wait for the next one on July 16th.

Fun news! We’re hosting an on-farm music residency with @laamarmusic this summer 🌞 Attend one or all three of these Thursday night events! Come unwind on the farm with us after a good day’s work, bring your beverage of choice and a camp chair or blanket, grab some food from the food truck, and settle in for the show. @laamarmusic will be performing each of the nights, alongside a special guest at each show. Special guest artists include @nat.harvie, @too_champagne, @thepennypeaches, @zeldadz and @entheos.enclave.
