From bike messenger culture to graffiti, @futuradosmil has always been a part of it. An artist who bridges subcultures through a visual identity shaped by growing up in the city. From old documentaries to flickered artifacts, you can feel what fascinated him—the same energy that still skids through the streets of the Big Apple today.

The city holds no secrets when you explore it both on a bike and through the lens of a graffiti writer. Just like fixed gears become an extension of the body, it’s the art of always being at risk, yet fully in control.

The collaboration with @colnagoworld felt like a full-circle moment for the Brooklyn artist, inspired by the link he drew between the scattered lights of the urban nightscape and the residue left by spray paint marker caps. An icon that made its way into Robin Williams’ bike collection and still fuels the dreams of those who hope to ride it one day. by @lab.zip
