Been extracting total RNA from I've-lost-count-because-they're-too-many mosquitoes using TRIzol reagent for the past few weeks, and I've realized ... isn't it amazing how this method separates RNA from the other components of the sample?

AAAAH. Sometimes, when you're performing a specific method for so many times already, you tend to forget the beauty of chemistry behind it. Sometimes, when something is routinary, you can easily brush it off as something too ordinary. 🙃

These bloodfed mosquitoes will be processed for RNA extraction. Hopefully, we'd be able to discern the arboviruses thay they carry.
