On a beautiful fall day, I’m reminded of just one of the many reasons I chose to live and work in small towns like this.

The first time most people walk through your venue, they're usually doing it online.

The tour video is that first walk through. Photos are a great way to show what a space looks like, but a tour video shows what it's like to move through it: where guests will arrive, how the room feels during an event, and the views everyone stops to photograph.

Swipe through for six steps to follow on a venue tour, so the video plays like a preview of what to expect in person so you can lock in the booking.

Save this for when you plan your next tour video. If you run an event barn, farm venue or historic property in New England, let me know about your space in the comments 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 taken in Labradoodle Studio by @labradoodlestudio

It sounds odd that one of my favorite products from a winery just happens to be Maple Syrup, but that's the truth. Going through some older footage, and put together this re-edit of the process of making maple syrup at Agronomy Farm Vineyard in Oakham, MA.

Hundreds of feet of pipelines, days of boiling, and flavor experimentation go into creating one of the best maple syrups I've ever had. by @labradoodlestudio

The best content ideas don't happen when you're planning content. They happen mid-task.

Keep a running note on your phone. Every time something looks good while you're working, jot it down. Steam off the cider press at 6am. Golden light through the barn doors around 4.

Half your content calendar is sitting in your own week. You just have to catch it before it passes.

Corey spent twenty years as a research scientist. Marissa spent fifteen as an engineer. The left those career paths to pursue something more.

More time outside. More balance in a life that actually felt like theirs. More created with their own hands.

Every wine, hard cider, and syrup made at @agronomyfarmvineyard is a testament to that story, and all made from scratch, right here in #Oakham.

This is Corey and Marissa's story. What story does your business have to tell? Let me know how I can help you tell it. by @labradoodlestudio

78% of consumers say they'd pay more for local products if they could easily find information about them online. Only 29% of farms use the internet to market what they do at all.

Your customers already want to pay more. They just need a way to find you. Video is one of the top ways to get found.

Here's a trick that'll save you a lot of wasted footage. Write your caption first.

If you can't finish the sentence "this shows people that…" you're not ready to hit record yet.

Knowing your point before you film means you know what to shoot, how close to get, and when you've got it. Skip this step and you're stuck scrolling through fifty clips trying to figure out what story you were even telling.

One shoot day can carry you further than you think.

A single video shoot can generate 15 to 20 pieces of content, and most businesses only use one. The cost sits in the shoot itself, not in how many pieces you walk away with. Whether you get one clip or twenty, the day costs about the same.

Swipe through for six ways I plan every shoot to keep working long after the crew packs up, from the main film down to the B-roll folder that quietly saves your content calendar all year.

Save this for your next shoot day.

For a platform that was founded on showing off photography, nearly half of all time spent on Instagram goes to Reels, not static photos. And Reels built for the platform get 22% more interactions than a regular video post dropped in.

If your feed is mostly product shots and event flyers, that's real reach you're not getting every week.
