M-shaped lips are widely considered one of the most technically challenging lip anatomies to treat. Although this patient initially requested additional filler, it was clear that achieving her desired outcome required a different approach. Rather than adding more volume, we first dissolved existing product to do a full reset.

Successful correction of an M shaped lip requires thoughtful product selection, a detailed understanding of perioral anatomy, and precise injection technique — it’s far more about contour refinement than simply adding volume.

With this lip shape, restraint is key. Less is almost always more. I typically begin with a conservative first session using small, strategic amounts of product, then reassess and refine at a two-week follow-up. Gradual layering allows for better control, improved symmetry, and significantly reduces the risk of heaviness or migration.

Because of the unique muscle dynamics and structural contour of M-shaped lips, overfilling can quickly distort and compromise shape. Precision and patience make all the difference.

Once I refined my approach — both in technique and product choice — this actually became one of my favorite lip types to treat. There’s something incredibly satisfying about subtly reshaping the architecture and creating a soft, natural looking lip shape

Just a little story about how I was finally able to tolerate Retinol after years of being in the industry. Senté Bio Complete has truly transformed my sensitive & dry skin and I will forever be recommending this product to patients who are new to retinol or have never been able to tolerate it.

It is always such an honor to inject fellow injectors in the industry. I loved getting to catch up and poke this pretty face.

This was a facial balancing maintenance appointment, which is honestly one of my favorite types of appointments.
Instead of adding volume everywhere, we made a few small, intentional adjustments to improve symmetry and maintain the balance created over time. Her first appointment with me was in 2024 and the goal was originally to refill her lips after dissolving but I noticed her left cheek could use more volume so we decided to add some volume at that appointment to make her look more balanced. Her most recent appointment we decided to address temple volume, preauricular hollowing, left cheek volume, chin shadows, and piriform (triangular shaped shadow next to nose). Lindsay is such a natural beauty and my intention is always to preserve that.

My goal is for you to look at the after and think, ‘She looks really good,’ not, ‘What did she have done?’

Many patients are scared to do injectables because they worry they won’t look like themselves. My goal with Dysport is never to make you look different it’s to soften the movements that are creating lines while still keeping your natural expressions. I’d rather start conservatively and add more later if needed. You should still look like you, just a little more refreshed.

Areas treated with Dysport:

1. Frontalis → softens forehead lines while keeping natural movement
2. Glabella → relaxes frown lines between the brows for a softer, more refreshed look
3. Crow’s feet → smooths fine lines around the eyes, especially when smiling
4. DAO → relaxes the downward pull at the corners of the mouth for a more lifted, neutral expression

The goal is never to freeze the face—it’s to soften strong muscle movement while keeping you looking like you.

We get asked all the time whether our moxi + bbl stack actually works on freckles and sun damage. this is one round.

What to expect: pigment darkens in the first few days, that’s the treatment working. by day five to seven it lifts away, revealing more even tone underneath. Results continue building for weeks as new collagen forms. Most patients see their best skin around the three month mark.🤍

You’ve invested in your face for years… but forgot your neck 👀

Neck lines are one of the most common concerns I hear and they aren’t always just about age. Genetics, anatomy, collagen loss, skin quality, and years of repetitive movement all play a role.
