Just short of 5 years ago I had just moved to Alaska for the Army, and not even 3 days later you picked me. I went to the shelter looking for a dog, an older dog, but I went home with the perfect floppy eared shy girl because she really chose me. For the first week of having her I called my mom everyday to talk about how bad the puppy is, how stressed I was and that I should take her back. But my mom told me just be patient because it’ll be worth it, and she was 100% right. You were literally my other half, Alaska. My best friend, my comfort, my happiness. The goofiest, crazy girl to ever exist. I’m absolutely devastated that you had to leave us at such a young age but I know you had an amazing life. The endless car rides, dog park trips, visiting grandmas, traveling across the United States. I really tried to give you everything possible because you were the best thing in my life. I love you so much baby. I miss you more than everything and thank you for trying to push through these last few days.
Enjoy doggie heaven and play endlessly with the others of the family that also have crossed rainbow bridge. I love you more than anything 💜🌈 by @lacichiampas
