Afternoon Tea > Cake. Celebrating P turn 5 in London was the highlight of a tough year. Take us back to this magical place 🇬🇧 🐾🫖 by @lacnelson

For the last 10 years I was lucky enough to call this brilliant, brave lady my sister. She was the sister I always wanted, the most incredible Auntie Amanda to the babes, and the twin sister to Zachary. She was my hot tub partner in crime, the paparazzi to the paparazzi, shotgun riding, karaoke queen. While she has passed on and our hearts are broken, I find light in the memories we shared and gratitude for the time given to August and Parker.
She was a fierce advocate, a public health leader, and a dedicated clinician of HIV care and sexual health. She joined Physicians for Human Rights and served as a Policy Associate at the American Jewish World Service, where she advocated for U.S. foreign policy on behalf of women, girls, and LGBTQ+ people worldwide.
She continues to inspire me and I hold on to knowing she’ll do the same for August and Parker.
We’re honoring Amanda’s memory with donations to Whitman-Walker Health, directed toward the care of uninsured and underinsured patients.
Please join us in celebrating her life on 5/16, 11-3p, Paddy Reilly’s Music Bar, 519 2nd Ave, New York, NY I love you sis 🫶 @carya18 by @lacnelson
