Laco Stuttgart PRO: Eine Fliegeruhr, zwei unterschiedliche Looks

Die Stuttgart PRO verbindet das klassische Typ-A-Design von Laco mit einem neuen grünen Zifferblatt – und zeigt im Hands-On, wie stark das passende Armband den Charakter einer Uhr prägen kann.

Am Edelstahlarmband wirkt die 40-mm-Fliegeruhr moderner und etwas vielseitiger. Der gebürstete Stahl greift die Oberfläche des Gehäuses auf und lässt gleichzeitig das Grün stärker in den Vordergrund treten. Mit dem dunkelbraunen Lederband mit Nieten und Faltschließe verändert sich der Auftritt deutlich: Das warme Leder harmoniert schön mit dem Grün und rückt die traditionelle Fliegeruhren-Ästhetik stärker in den Fokus.

Ergänzt wird unsere Variante durch die farblich abgestimmte Datumsanzeige und einen Saphirglas-Sichtboden mit Blick auf das dekorierte Automatikwerk. Über den Laco-Konfigurator lassen sich Armband und weitere Details der Stuttgart PRO individuell auswählen.

Touchdown confirmed 🛬

Introducing the @laco1925 Augsburg 42 Limited Edition for @turicumwatchgroup! 👨🏻‍✈️

We wanted to create something really special to celebrate our 7th anniversary and the historic German watch manufacturer proved to be the perfect partner for this! 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

We approached them a few months ago with a list of ideas and they were immediately onboard to accommodate them all! ✅

The result is a classic Pilot watch, enriched by a number of TWG touches: from the blue 7 (during the day and at night - check out the lumeshot! 🔦), to the name of our group on the rotor, to the engraving of the geographical coordinates of Zurich on the case side! 🇨🇭

We could not be happier with the result! 🤩

A big ‘thank you’ to Marcel and the team at Laco for embracing this project with great enthusiasm and an even bigger one to all the TWG members for being an absolutely incredible community! 🥳

Hands-On mit der neuen Laco Stuttgart PRO mit grünem Zifferblatt.

Klassische Fliegeruhren-DNA trifft auf ein neues grünes Typ-A-Zifferblatt, das der Stuttgart PRO einen angenehm frischen Charakter verleiht, ohne ihre traditionellen Wurzeln aus den Augen zu verlieren. Die farblich abgestimmte Datumsanzeige fügt sich dezent ins Zifferblatt ein, während der Saphirglas-Sichtboden den Blick auf das dekorierte Automatikwerk freigibt.

Besonders vielseitig zeigt sich die 40-mm-Fliegeruhr beim Wechsel der Armbänder: Edelstahl unterstreicht ihre etwas modernere Seite, dunkelbraunes Leder mit Nieten und Faltschließe bringt den klassischen Charakter stärker zur Geltung. Über den Laco-Konfigurator lassen sich darüber hinaus verschiedene Details der Stuttgart PRO individuell zusammenstellen.

What I like about a GMT? It always looks like it has somewhere to be. ✈️

And the Laco Frankfurt 40 GMT Grau definitely has that energy.

Dark, technical, almost monochrome — until those little orange accents cut through the whole thing. The GMT hand, the stripe on the strap… just enough color to give an otherwise very purposeful design its own personality.

What I especially like here is that nothing feels decorative for the sake of it. The Frankfurt looks like a proper tool watch, but still manages to have a very distinct visual identity.

And yes… even sitting perfectly still for photos, somehow it already looks ready for departure. 😄

From the wrist to the cockpit. ✈️⌚

A few days ago, we showed you Nikolaj and his Himalaya – a pilot wearing a sports watch instead of a classic pilot watch. This time, we’re taking you one step closer to where the watch actually joins him: right inside the cockpit.

Because while the Himalaya may not be a traditional Flieger, this is exactly the kind of environment it was made for. Functional, robust and ready to be worn rather than simply looked at.

And somehow, surrounded by all those instruments, it still looks right at home. 😉

Pilot watch? Not quite. Pilot? Definitely. ✈️

It’s #FliegerFriday – although today, our pilot isn’t wearing a pilot watch. 😉

A pilot watch doesn’t always have to take to the skies. And as Nikolaj proves, a sports watch can certainly reach new heights. For his aerobatic flights, he chose our Himalaya – actually a member of the Laco sports watch collection. Who says you have to stick to categories? 😎

Unsurprisingly, the case of the @laco1925 Frankfurt 40 GMT is pure utilitarian goodness. The dark sand-blasting treatment paired with the dual guarded screw-down crown oozes professionalism and wanting to be mistreated and put through its paces. It also boasts 200 meters and excellent dimensions of 40 x 47 x 11.9mm which makes it Vincent-perfect. What do you think?

Case size, dial, movement, crown position, case finish, date, case back, bracelet or strap – the Flieger PRO was designed around choice.

This particular Stuttgart PRO combines a brushed stainless steel case with a matching bracelet for a clean, contemporary take on the classic pilot watch. Look closer and the familiar details are still there: clear typography, the characteristic triangle at 12 and a design built around legibility and function.
