I guess I was in the mood for some red and black on my nails AND my book covers, because after my book was spookily poofed from existence at the beach last week, this was the book I started on my Kindle!🏖️📱📖

The stunning Sea Smoke finished off both The Unknown and this book, and she was just too perfect for both, thematically AND visually! These plot twists, my gaish!👀🔪📕🖤

Kind of uncanny how perfectly the nature of this polish reflected the journey of this book!😶‍🌫️ And the cover, of course😉😍

What a fun time, as always, Mr. Sager!📚🪾 And this polish? Absolutely stunning😩🙌🏼🔥

Reading about a spooky island while on an island? 10/10🏝️📖
When spooky things start happening on the fictional AND real island?...not so much🫣👻

Ok, so I was really looking forward to reading a book about a spooky island while I was on a non-spooky island…but then a big spooky thing happened, and I still can’t get over it!😭

My book DISAPPEARED! Literally. I have absolutely no idea what happened to it. It was sitting on my bed, and then an hour later it wasn’t there…or anywhere (and I checked eeeeeverywhere, even places it couldn’t possibly be)👀

Big shoutout to Mr. Lacquered Lore, who picked up another copy on the mainland so I could keep reading (and take these fun matching mani pics!)🥹💕

Swipe to see the original book, before it vanished without a trace.😭👻📖

I knew I needed a soft yet witchy green for my last mani with this book…and I think Sagebrush fit the bill perfectly!🥀💚✨

I will definitely be continuing on with this trilogy! Already excited to see what’s in store—cover-wise, plot-wise, and mani-wise!😉🧟‍♀️

When Fantasy and Romance are at the tips of your fingers…literally!🩷💜✨

With a little Nonfiction holding it all together.🩶📚

(And y’all, Nonfiction is actually stuuuuuunning! She has the most gorgeous pink shimmer that I could not, for the LIFE of me, do justice to on camera.😭 You’re just gonna have to trust me on this one—SHE’S A BEAUT.💖)

Still can’t get over how much @plottwistpolish seems to get me lol😭✨📚💅🏼

ILNP’s Flicker is such a great match in both color AND theme for this book! With one caveat: we are WAY past the flicker stage. We are now in full-blown flame. 😝🔥🔥🔥
