Educators from the Costa Rica Study Tour came together in early November for a warm reunion after their unforgettable journey in July 2025. It was a wonderful moment to reconnect, reflect on shared experiences, and continue building the community that began during the tour.

Can you condense an 8-day study tour to Costa Rica into a one minute reel?!

The Consortium brought 9 North Carolina educators to Turrialba, Costa Rica for experiential learning and professional development in July. Our experiences included a conversation with local educators, a walking tour of Guayabo National Monument, a day learning about coffee production, and so much more!
The participants received continuing education units for their state licensure requirements. They will create lesson plans that are informed by the tour.
