We've been friends with Bontempo and Christopher Tubbs since the late 2010's. We met them both playing on the same bills together at the excellent 121 parties, then hosted them on Waiheke, at Pleasure and Afternoon Delight. They were the first names on our wishlist when we were thinking about DJs to join us at Meow Nui and we're stoked to have them onboard for October 9! by @lacuna_ftv

🚨🚨 LACUNA DEBUT’S 🚨🚨

Next up for Fill The Void, we're excited to welcome @flatmate__ and @its_dj_momo_.

Founder of @dancetherapyrecords, @flatmate__ has become one of Aotearoa's most respected selectors through marathon vinyl sessions, massive bunker raves and Dance Therapy club nights. With a passion for storytelling and an infectious energy behind the decks, his sets capture the warmth of the past while exploring the progressive sounds of the present. Alongside his events, he's recently launched the @dancetherapyrecords label, continuing to champion and showcase New Zealand's underground dance music community.

Joining him is @its_dj_momo_ a staple of the Tāmaki Makaurau underground who has established herself through her deep, minimal house sound and effortless ability to build a room. Having shared lineups with artists including @marsolomusic, @locklead.music, @osmosisjonesinthehouse, @kepler__uk and @dannysnowdendj, she's become known for her tight blends, obscure selections and rhythmic grooves. We're excited to welcome her to @meow_nui for the very first time.

We've added exclusive mixes from both artists to the link in our bio, alongside the new Dance Therapy Various Artists compilation. The release brings together producers from across Aotearoa, with all profits (excluding Bandcamp fees and CD manufacturing) donated to Trees That Count and Forest & Bird to support the conservation of the natural environments that inspire and host so much of our dance music community.

@hiddevanwee (NL)

Joining us for his NZ debut and fresh off his latest Eastenderz release Shamans Vision, Hidde is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting names in the underground. Known for his groove-led, late-night sound, his sets move through minimal, house and rolling techno with precision and control.
