“I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭

I don’t have enough words to fully capture what this summer has meant to me. The Lord has been so present and evident in every moment of serving at camp.
Watching campers from broken homes experience love and truth that they are deeply seen has been overwhelming in the best way. I’ve seen 23 staffers give everything they have to love intentionally, serve purposefully, and reflect Jesus daily. I’ve witnessed God grow seeds that we only had the privilege to plant, and it’s been a beautiful reminder that He is always at work even when we don’t see the full picture.
This summer has shown me that God’s glory can be revealed in every situation, not just the easy or the expected ones. It’s taught me that life is not about us, it’s all about pointing everything back to our Creator.
It has been awesome to have a glimpse of heaven on earth by @lacybowles6
