A couple of weeks ago, I managed to surprise my entire family by making a brief, completely unannounced visit to Syracuse, before continuing on to southeast PA to watch TWU gymnastics capture their 14th national championship. My last night there just happened to coincide with the Dallas Stars being in town to play the Philadelphia Flyers. Even though the Stars ended up losing in OT, I had a great time being the villain in an opposing barn for the night.
1. Nala was the first member of my household to notice my arrival. Catch that growl at the very beginning thinking she was getting a bad guy only to realize it was me. 😅
2. She still just couldn’t believe her sissy came to see her!
3. I also got to surprise Wyatt by showing up at his tournament. He and his team played 2 great games!
4. After the 2nd game. He’s such a good sport for his aunty. ❤️
5. Just a girl and her dog 👯‍♀️🐾
6. Hanging out with my girl and her favorite stick before hitting the road for Philly
7. Back to back (14th overall) NATTY CHAMPS! 🏆
8. The TWU parents - the greatest bunch of people!
9. Our yearly trophy photo. So grateful for you! ❤️
10-17. Stars vs. Flyers! 💚⭐️
18. 4 hour layover in Louisville coming home 😵‍💫

The young man who made me an aunty is now a legal adult and I am all up in my feels about it. Happy EIGHTEENTH birthday Waylon! Aunty loves you to the moon and back and is forever proud of your resilience, your sweet soul and probably most importantly, your kind heart. Can’t wait to see you so soon! ❤️ by @lacygracy01
