What a weekend! Last Monday, I was convinced I was dropping out of this meet due to excruciating elbow/shoulder and a love/hate relationship with the DL bar.

Fortunately, I’ve got the best team of women always reminding me, to suck it up and stop being a bi*%h and a mini-me that still thinks mommy’s cool and watches everything I do, so I had no choice but to show up.

To the entire @sundayservice__strength crew, y’all are amazing! When I moved to SC last year, I had 1 friend in the whole state. I remember telling @strengthcoachsav & @thelifeofpauler my goal was to find community. I hit the jackpot with you guys, it was so cool meeting so many of yall in person and being able to compete alongside several of you. Your friendship and support mean the world to me.

To my coaches @strengthcoachsav thanks for always challenging me and figuring out a way to work around my always evolving injuries. So grateful for you as a coach, can’t wait to see what’s next!
@bowles_body_performance thank you for all the carbs and putting up with my technologically challenged ass. I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food but you’ve made it really easy to stay on track. I’ve already gotten so much stronger over the last few months. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m excited to see how much weight I can gain😂

@dr.ryanlesik thanks for making sure I was in good shape to compete and for all the work you’ve put in this year fixing years of damage.

For two years I’ve been stuck at 100kg/220lb, finally hit 105/231 and 107.5/237!!

Turns out, all I needed was the @sundayservice__strength crew, spotters @courtneynoele & @the_spoonerman LOTS of carbs and to listen to my coaches.

Where does the time go? I can still remember asking God to bless me with a child like it was yesterday. Six and a half years ago today, He sent me Micah, the most perfect, beautiful wild child that came out kicking and screaming and hasn’t slowed down since. by @ladaradalin

We got to spend some time with 🎅🏼 at church today! Micah let Santa know her Christmas list is stacked this year, singing lessons, powerlifting coaching, a hoverboard, and of course… another Labubu.
We caught up with friends, made a few new ones, and even survived the full-scale Micah meltdown after I confiscated her marshmallows. Parenting: undefeated and unhinged, all at once. 🎄✨
