Chestnut season is here, and we obviously had to make a whole afternoon out of it.

Should we save you a spot next week?

La Darbia Chianti is redefining the meaning of luxury.

What if the greatest luxury were not what a place offers, but the privilege of experiencing it? The particular beauty of the Tuscan landscape, the character of its architecture, the rhythm of the countryside and the feeling of being exactly where you are meant to be.

At La Darbia Chianti, luxury begins with the destination itself. With the opportunity to inhabit a place rather than simply visit it, to appreciate its nuances, and to let its beauty shape the experience. Nothing needs to compete with the surroundings; everything finds its place within them.

It is a new perspective on luxury, where exclusivity is not about having more, but about being somewhere truly special — and having the time to appreciate it.

The new luxury is not just where you stay. It is the privilege of experiencing a place in all its beauty.

We wish we could bottle up this feeling and send it to you
Wouldn’t that be something?

There’s a reason we look forward to this day every year.
Our team and guests sharing good conversations and a little harvest magic.
And last week reminded us why we love it so much.

Same time next year? 🍇

Some days we find ourselves just standing here, looking around.
Can you blame us?

There’s something we love about the way we eat in Italy: plates rarely stay in front of just one person. Someone always wants you to try what they ordered. Wine gets passed around. And somehow, there’s always room for one more thing.
We wouldn’t have it any other way
