I decided to start taking my finances more seriously, and the first step was to track where my money goes, so I tracked my expenses for August and this is where it landed.

The occasional expenses are really occasional for real so i won't bother about it on an average month.

Foodstuff and groceries was this high cos the kids were home for the holiday and there was always something to buy lol.

I skipped giving and donations for some months and I paid for a couple of months altogether this month.

I don't have any savings and investment and this is even what brought me to do this in the first place🥹.
I’ve gone through my expenses trying to figure out what I can cut back on, but I genuinely don’t see much that I want to eliminate.

So maybe the solution isn't to "spend less", it's actually to start earning more.

I want to get to a place where I can comfortably cover my expenses, continue giving, AND still have enough left over to save and invest.. and travel the world 🤤
