For a considerable period, I have found myself reaching out to Abba, imploring him to save me from the confines of my own self, and this plea arises from a profound realization that has dawned upon me. My eyes have been opened to the truth that I have been navigating life relying solely on my own power, might, strength, and what I once thought was wisdom, which in hindsight often reveals itself as foolishness. In this journey, I have neglected to extend grace to myself, and even more critically, I have not afforded him, whom I lovingly refer to as my Lord and Father, the opportunity to genuinely lead, teach, provide for, and transform me in ways I cannot fathom on my own.

It may sound "crazy" to some that I would ask God to save me from myself, yet this request is a testament to my willingness to confront the undeniable fact that I am utterly incompetent without his guidance.

Acknowledging this truth is both humbling and liberating, as it allows me to shed the burdens of self-reliance that have weighed heavily on my spirit. And here’s another seemingly "crazy" aspect of my faith journey: I find myself uncertain about the depth of my faith in Abba, yet I consciously choose to surrender my doubts and unbelief to him. In moments of profound insufficiency, I am reminded that my God of Patience is eternally sufficient, providing me with the strength and support I need to navigate the complexities of life.

This relationship, built on trust and surrender, becomes a sanctuary where I can embrace my vulnerabilities and allow his transformative power to work within me, leading me toward a path of grace and renewal. #faithoverfear #christianity
