Feeling so blessed to celebrate 80 years young with the world’s best father-in-law and the incredible patriarch of the Donnelly clan! ❤️ A man who is loved, admired, and cherished by so many. We are all so lucky to have you at the heart of our family! Here’s to 80 amazing years and many more memories to come! 🥂❤️

A huge thank you to Ines, Maristel, and Francis @mississauguagcc for always treating us like family. The event would not have been the success it was without your hard work and dedication👏🏻

Please see my comment about the “AI content”. Swipe for the after! I wanted to share the project we hired Liam to do. This bathroom is off our pool deck, it was built in the early 80’s and really needed a refresh. Liam has been working part time for his uncle doing construction while he’s been finishing school. We decided this would be the perfect project for him to do on his own and utilize the skills he has learned. We are super proud of the work he has done. I was told by both John and my brother in law that I couldn’t have picked a harder tile for him to install for his first time…but he’s my kid! I had faith and knew he would do it and do it well he did!

Value study and washes before the real magic begins. Kind of digging the Magenta and Phthalo.

This little painting has a story behind it.

On their honeymoon in Portugal, my sister and her husband stayed in an Airbnb where a one-legged seagull paid them a visit every single day. She named him Dude, and he quickly became a special part of their trip.

When I began my art journey with lessons from @ali_kay_studio, my sister fell in love with Ali’s style and asked if I would paint Dude someday.

It took me a while to build the confidence to try Ali’s style on my own, but I finally took the leap. This is my thumbnail study, where I experimented with the colour recipes before starting the final piece. Believe it or not, every colour in this painting was mixed using just nine different paints.

Next up is a 10” × 10” panel of Dude, which I’ll be painting as a gift for my sister. I can’t wait to bring this special little visitor back to life on a larger panel. by @lady_jule
