This past Sunday was an amazing day of beautiful music! Scott Atchison retired as organist & choir master from Peachtree Road UMC after 44 years. I started singing in this choir back in 1991. I don’t remember what year I left the choir but I came back in 2001 to get married to my husband in the original sanctuary, which is now the Chapel. Scott has blessed so many of us over the years with fantastic music, but it’s not easy! I know first hand all the hard work he & all who sing with him put in to bring this meaningful music week after week, year after year. It was also so special to run into so many friends I used to sing with all those years ago-those friends who were like family! Thank you Scott for all the wonderful memories! I love you so much & look forward to following you in your next chapter!! #PRUMC taken in Peachtree Road United Methodist Church by @ladybcrosby
