I want to say thank you to the old me for taking the initiative to begin this fitness journey. Without her bravery, tenacity & discipline I wouldn’t have made it this far. Forever learning, asking questions, looking for improvement even if it’s 1%. The goal was to lose weight, to finally be “skinny”. As the years have gone by my goal is to be STRONG, to be fierce, to be disciplined, to be a goal chaser, to be the best version of myself, to be ready for my later years, to be unapologetically ME. I am so grateful for the opportunity to do this photoshoot, it was something I never imagined could happen to me. Thank you @hardcoretori! My journey has just begun, and I know that I am going to continue being 100% BEAst mode everyday. Finished my leg at 1:17 pm, all the other VRLA teams had finished their race. Having my run family meet me at the finish line, and run in with me meant the world. 🥹🖤🩷 by @ladybea1979

BEAstMode 2.0 what can I say, it has been an honor to be your team Captain. I am so proud of your dedication, determination, and completely bad ass work ethic. When the challenge started I told you all, nobody gets left behind. We start together we all finish together. These pics tell the story of your journey, your transformation, they document you showing up not just for yourselves, but for your team. Months of training, lots of miles, solo runs, club runs, friend runs, races all building up to #LAM It was not easy running in that heat, but the cheers & LA energy kept me going. I listened intently for all my rally messages, it was honestly so humbling to hear your kind words. I felt so loved, and like you were there with me. Seeing my family & friends on the sidelines was so special, getting your hugs & hearing your cheers filled my cup. Here’s to many more challenges & always leveling up. My very first Hyrox (global fitness race & competition) and it definitely tested me mentally & physically!! I know I still have so much to learn & accomplish but it felt so good being out there. I couldn’t have done it without @briaanduzit he asked me back in January to partner up with him…and the rest is history! Thank you to our respective spouses and families for all their support along the way. This was not something we went into lightly, a lot of training took place. We participated in several PFTs and simulations, but of course nothing prepares you for the real thing like actually doing it! I am beyond proud of our time because no matter what it’s a PR! We can only get better, faster, stronger!! Thank you to everyone who has congratulated us, and been cheering us on near and far!
