Carry that Weight- 10 min video piece (available to watch on my Patreon!) was featured in the Cult of Beauty at @cccb_barcelona recently. I’m so honored to be included in the exhibition, and the accompanying art book. This is my first international show, which as a still emerging artist that’s a big deal! I hope next time I’m able to see the work in person as well as all the other fabulous pieces. by @ladybuchness

Drawn like a moth to the flame 🕯️ I’m so happy with how he turned out! There are a few things I’d want to change but overall I’m happy with him by @ladybuchness

Excited to be a part of this show! I won’t be able to make the opening as I’m not feeling up to driving up to Tucson today, but I hope you’re able to attend! It will be a super fun time as it always is at @celestia.collective 🖤🔮🌜🌝🌛🔮🖤 by @ladybuchness

New Bolos are headed to the kiln to get glaze fired! I can’t wait to see how they come out especially the pieces with glass frit added! Also the colors they are now are not what they will be! The black looking ones should be bronze/gold! And the reddish color on the dish will be teal! Ahhh I can’t wait! I’m loving doing ceramics lately! It’s so different from my usual work but a much needed a reset for my creativity that has felt sort of stuck lately for various reasons. If you want to see sooner updates of my work check out my patreon! It’s only $3 a month and every bit helps ❤️ by @ladybuchness

Some daily drawings from the past few weeks! As I wait to hear from some things I applied to, I’ve had a hard time making my own work, so I turned to the artist Oracle deck for inspiration. Each of my daily drawings are inspired by the card I draw to which I research the artist is I need to and create a drawing with their work in mind. Hope yall enjoy! Trying to stay in the habit of creating first thing in the morning everyday by doing daily drawings (artist who inspired me to start this in the comments) I’ve tried doing the morning pages of writing but they weren’t working for me so I shifted my focus and began intuitive drawings. All are colored pencil, and these are a few of my favs from June and the first half of July. If you’d like to see weekly updates of my daily drawings check out my patreon! Only $3/mo and every bit helps! I also post more frequently on there and behind the scenes stuff as well. Thank you again for supporting me on here, I love sharing my work with y’all and hope to continue to do so for a long time to come ❤️ by @ladybuchness

Completed a beautiful watercolor portrait of my parents beloved dog Oscar who recently left for the great big dog park in the sky. We will miss him dearly, he was a very silly gentleman.

Gay and Grimoire is going to be up at @celestia.collective for the summer! These pieces are two of my newer works where I’m exploring liminal space, reflection, light and iridescence in relation to queerness! The opening night was a lot of fun! I set up a booth for vending where I did some fun blind contour portraits, and sold some art and bolo ties! I can’t wait to make more bolos soon! If you’re in Tucson be sure to check out the work and grab an iced coffee for maximum gayness!

Thank you to all of you who follow me on here! If you’d like more behind the scenes content check out my patreon, for just $3 a month you’ll get updates and behind the scenes insight into my work that I don’t post anywhere else! You can also sign up for free and access some of the content. Every little bit helps me to be able to continue to make work and keep a roof over my head! Link in bio! by @ladybuchness

Pet portrait commissions are open (as well as other commissions)! I’m trying to make ends meet this summer and it would be awesome if I could do that through creating art instead of delivery driving! If you’re interested fill out the google form in my link tree and I’ll respond in a few days with pricing and options! Doing a portrait of this beautiful dog was so fun and challenging to get the darkness pf the fur while keeping interesting colors! The portrait of the dog is done in watercolor and the portrait of my sweet cheese, Frizz, is done in colored pencil.
If you’d like to help support me financially but don’t have portraiture money, check out my patreon, it’s only $3/mo and every subscriber helps me continue to be able to create more art! #petportraiture by @ladybuchness
