About yesterday.

Thank you for everyone that wished the princess a happy birthday, all the gifts received will be used for her college fund 🤭🤭 and chocolate here and there.

It was a special experience, she’s little but she’s so grown, and she knows it 😂😂

In our recent Chima Voice video, we discussed living by faith and how it can sometimes get out of control or out of hand. People may begin claiming things that are obviously, morally, not theirs, like other people’s husbands. If you haven’t heard of that before, thank God.

Some even go as far as saying, “God has shown me that you are my wife,” while speaking to someone who already belongs to someone else.

However, the Word of God sets the boundaries for our faith. Faith must be grounded in what God has already said.

🙏🏾Faith does not begin with feelings—it begins with the Word of God.🙏🏾

In fact, God watches over His Word to perform it, so He would never contradict it. He would never lead someone into infidelity.

🙏🏾The Holy Spirit will never guide you into what the Word forbids.🙏🏾

If it ever feels like the Spirit of God is directing you in such a way, run it by the Word of God, always run it by the Word.

Sometimes we struggle to distinguish between the voice of our own selfish desires, the voice of the enemy, and the voice of the Holy Spirit, especially if we do not dwell in the Word.

“Personal desire can sound spiritual if it is not tested by Scripture.”

Without being rooted in Scripture, we cannot clearly recognize what God sounds like.

🙏🏾If you don’t know the Word, you won’t recognize God’s voice.🙏🏾

That is why we must focus on the Word. We need to build our capacity in the Word and store it within us, so the Holy Spirit has something to work through in us.

🙏🏾The Holy Spirit works through what God has already written.🙏🏾

The Word of God is the boundary of our faith; it is the proof of what true faith looks like.

🙏🏾You cannot claim faith where there is no scriptural foundation.🙏🏾

So, ask yourself: do you have scriptural backing for what you believe you’ve heard from the Spirit of God? Just check. by @ladychipo

AN AUDIENCE OF ONE

Maybe this is for married couples but I have come to learn something profound about Gods dealings. The Word said “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬ ‭

A good question to all who claim to love and fear God. In wedlock, my closest brother with whom I might become familiar, whom I might take for granted, who needs the real me to be loving and kind, is this one, Mike , My audience of one, and truly if I can love him well, will God not but accept that truly I love Him (God)?

Love is the foundation for a every good thing, GOD IS LOVE, and as a foundation He is made manifest in the walls and rooms as “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And if I ever have to take a stage to share my gifts but remember that I have caused my brother harm, let me step down, make peace because I can’t be to the world, real if I cannot show LOVE to him. I remember you, my darling and truly, you are my permission to shine. I love you today. by @ladychipo

I like to believe I am dispensable, Jesus can raise stones if I don’t feel like doing what I’ve got to do.

The mere fact that He shares with me the secrets of what I can do to please Him, shows His interest in me. I am here Lord, I give you my time, my life, my mind, my strength and even my worship. It’s such a rare privilege.
