The Church doesn’t need less holiness. It needs more courage.For four days I sat at the Church of England Synod.I listened.I prayed.I watched.And my heart broke.Not because difficult conversations are happening—they should.But because we’ve reached a place where saying what Scripture says can feel controversial.Holiness isn’t a dirty word.Sexual integrity isn’t old-fashioned.Obedience isn’t legalism.They’re beautiful invitations to know God more deeply.When the Church compromises truth to gain acceptance, it doesn’t become more loving.It simply becomes quieter.The world doesn’t need another echo of culture.It needs a Church confident enough to lovingly proclaim the unchanging truth of God’s Word.As I stood beside this banner, one phrase stood out above everything else:“Living faithfully: pursuing a life of holiness and sexual integrity.”May that never become an embarrassing message.May it always be our witness.“Be holy, because I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16If you believe truth and love belong together, leave a ❤️ below.#Holiness #WalkingInTheLight #SexualIntegrity #ChristianConcern #StandForTruth by @ladygozen

It wasn’t always this way… Three years.That’s how long my father and I went without speaking.Here, I get to place my hand on his shoulder and hear him say he feels stronger because of my support.Only God could write that story. 🙌🏼What I’ve learned is that honour isn’t agreement.Honour is a posture of the heart.It’s choosing respect when it’s difficult.It’s choosing forgiveness when you’ve been hurt.It’s trusting God to heal what you cannot.As women becoming who God created us to be, we often focus on preparing for marriage.But preparation isn’t only about joining with the right man.It’s also about becoming a woman who knows how to honour, encourage, support and strengthen the people God places in her life.The woman you become before marriage is the woman you take into marriage.💛 Don’t wait for a relationship to be perfect before you choose honour.💛 Let God heal what feels impossible.💛 Trust Him with the restoration process.If God can restore this relationship, He can restore yours too.What’s one relationship God has been teaching you to honour in this season?Follow @wifeinthewaiting for more on becoming whole while holding onto hope.#WifeInTheWaiting #ChristianWomen #BiblicalWomanhood #HealingJourney #KingdomMarriage by @ladygozen

If Christianity was man-made, it would have told you to follow your feelings.It didn’t.It told you to die to them.Lust. Pride. Greed. Rebellion. These aren’t society’s villains. These are our defaults.And a religion invented by man would have celebrated them, not confronted them.What convicted me most about my faith is that it doesn’t flatter me. It exposes me. Every weakness, every pattern, every thing I’ve been hiding from myself… God sees it, names it, and then says I’ll help you carry it.That exchange has been the greatest growth of my life.Not self-improvement.
