Hey, so guess what? Master of One is coming out in paperback in November of this year…and it’s got an AMAZING new cover with art by @nir4z who is AMAZING and so fully captured the sass of Rags and the himbohood of Shining Talon! It’s time to share a little glimpse of the incredible new art for the cover…SO! What do you think?

I really hope y’all enjoy it, and please tell your friends if you think your friends would be into queer found family, gallows humor, dirty high fantasy, irreverent banter, and shiny metal familiars! My goal for the new year is to try and post more, be less afraid of enormous failure, and get this book in front of more people who might like reading it!

MASTER OF ONE ⚔️🥄 out today in paperback!! I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years since we released the hardcover edition! I don’t recommend having a book come out during a worldwide pandemic, but what can you do?

Friday is my birthday. Tomorrow, November 29, Master of One is officially released in paperback with this tremendous new cover by @nir4z and all I want for my birthday is to be able to finish this story. All I want is to tell the rest of Rags and the gang’s tale of wretchedness and wicked humor and worries and wonder. Gotta hope—this is probably the last hope?—the paperback does well and we are able to do so!

MASTER OF ONE comes out November 29th in glorious paperback form. 🥄 ⚔️

Fun fact: this silver spoon was a baby gift from my beloved uncle when I was born. Now it gets to represent Rags and Shining Talon’s relationship full of misunderstandings.

Fun fact 2: I semi threw out my back getting this photo because I am old, Gandalf. I may not look it, but I’m beginning to feel in my heart.

I tried to make a reel but alas I am old and it turned out super choppy and made me see the face of death and cry a little bit so anyway here’s the amazing paperback of Master of One OUT NOVEMBER 29 2022 aka very soon, and it would mean a lot if you’d share it! Don’t mind me my hair my posture …. @ekinsuofficial is a personal hero of mine. The way she holds her own, is passionate about what she loves and refuses to let anyone dim her sunshine has taught me so much. Never mind that I’m older than she is. Ekin-Su is a master storyteller in the way only people who know and believe themselves can be—telling her story as she loves it.

Fay Lichtash, born Fanny Glazer, my incredible grandmother, is finally—finally—with my grandfather again. She passed away this morning. Only a couple months shy of her 101st birthday. She was the oldest of four siblings and the last to leave this earth. All her pain and loneliness has ended. I will so, so miss her laugh.
