All the money and power in the world can’t make the Orange Ignoramus in the White House as dignified, brilliant or decent as these two. How he is still sitting there desecrating (literally) that office is beyond the imagination. by @ladyjaneb

Happy Holidays to all! How sorely we are in need of a space of light, grace, kindness and if possible, a little hope. For inspiration and loveliness, every year I post a picture of my favorite Dewdrop of all time: Maria Calegari. May your coming year bring solace and support! by @ladyjaneb

Maria Calegari in Balanchine’s one act Swan Lake. I cannot imagine anyone dancing this as well as she danced it- with incomparable lyricism. I saw her first dance the pas de deux in ballet class when we were fifteen and even then- she understood it so completely. by @ladyjaneb

Cannot believe it but now Studio City south of the Blvd is on fire! Heading up toward Mulholland. It’s near Ventura Blvd and Whitsett which is getting closer to us, though going in the opposite direction. We will be up all night in case we have to leave quickly.
This is incredible. by @ladyjaneb

From Ivar Brogger:

I was feeling depressed yesterday, so my dog, Moose, said he would tell me a story to make me feel better. He was having trouble telling me the story. He said "the thoughts keep going out of my head. All I know is that it's about love." I said to him "well, that's the whole story isn't it? " He understood.

I have now taken to asking all the people doing Customer Service calls with me to vote for Kamala Harris on Nov 5. All of the ones I spoke to were in Texas. All of the ones today were women. One of them said I reminded her of her mother. by @ladyjaneb
