SAD BUT TRUE….
Some people post pictures of themselves to get clicks, likes, or views. I post because of years of not being able to look at myself. I was so beat down mentally that I saw no beauty or worth in me. One day my amazing therapist gave me an assignment, and it was to spend each day posting a picture of myself on social media…. Omg! I just wasn’t here for it. But weeks later I searched through photos, posted one, and wrote GOOD MORNING🌺 That photo got thousands of views!!! It encouraged me to continue on, and to learn to not be ashamed of who I am or what I look like. So when you see me randomly posting a pic of myself, chances are I’m giving myself a reminder to keep going, keep pushing, and to never give up on me. Domestic Violence has many faces, and many stories. We evolve, but we’re never the same. Pay attention to the people in your life. Not every smile is happy, many are suffering in silence. #domesticviolenceawareness #PayAttention by @ladyjmedia
