Today was a very emotional day as I sent my babies off to school!
Ahmiya had SENIOR 😢😫 sunrise this morning.
Aubrey entering 4th grade ( my fav grade to teach)😁
Caden started Kindergarten 😢😢

I held back tears until I got in the car and then they just started pouring down my face! To think Caden is starting where Ahmiya began😫😫😫.

I thank God for covering them, protecting them, and keeping them safe daily as I place them in others hands. I thank God for blessing them with amazing teachers who are going to foster in their academic growth and love of learning! I thank God for the lasting and true friendships they will build throughout this school year! Most importantly, I thank God for the grace over their lives!

OMG guys, today is my big baby’s 17th birthday and I am struggling to take it in. It seems like yesterday we were walking hand in hand and being asked about any and everything around you, a curiosity only a toddler could have! Now you’re 17, getting ready to enter senior year, driving, and ready to show the world what an amazing young woman you have become and are continuing to evolve into!
Always remember how deeply loved you are and how extremely proud I am of you! We are about to turn up for Raymond and Brown concert tonight!

It’s crazy to watch how quick the time is flying by but you make it all worth it. God knew one of my kids would keep me on my toes and you are definitely it IYKYK😁 You are SUPER SMART, the FASTEST typer, BEST BIG SISTER (most of the time when your not moody😂😂), PUZZLE SOLVING, Proud Family watching BEST KID I KNOW. STOP, STOP, STOP scrolling and wish my AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL HUSBAND A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY🎈🎈🎈
Anyone who knows him knows he tries to stay low key but today we are giving him the ATTENTION he deserves because there is so much to celebrate about him. I’m so proud of him because he just finished his second Master’s program while working full-time, being a daddy full time, and husbanding (😂) full time. Watching the sacrifice, late nights, and stress all while the determination and dedication are sitting forefront!

Happy Anniversary to my forever love @sharp_witted08 ! These last 8 years have flown by so quickly. To think we met at ECC in 2002 and here we are 2026.
