What a productive garden day! Harvest the last of our tomatoes and we found these two squashes (we got a ton of squash this year 😜)

If you planted a garden this year, how did you do?

I’m already dreaming about my garden next year 🥰 taken in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Quebec by @ladymarielle

Being raised without a mom I often wonder what life would have been like and if and how that would have changed the way I’m raising my kids. One thing I know is that she’s 11 and still holds my hand and for that I’m so grateful 🩷🥰

My sweet girl is 11. I can’t tell you what I did last week but I can tell you in details how my day went 11 years ago.

One thing parenting has taught me is that every child gives you a chance to do things a little differently. Teaching kids about money isn’t one big conversation. It’s all the little conversations along the way, like learning how to earn, when to spend, and when to save. That’s exactly what we’re working on with our daughter right now. She’s starting to help more around the house, earn her own money, and think about what she actually wants to spend it on.

We’ve been using @mydohapp to make those conversations part of our everyday routine. I love that she can work toward her own savings goals while I can still guide her along the way.

We’re taking it one small step at a time.
