Receiving the Beacon of Change medal in Parliament during Black History Month in-front of 140 distinguished guests, CEO’s, Senators, Ambassadors and members of royal families as-well as influential figures from the arts and fashion industries is a moment I’ll never forget.

Standing at that podium, I spoke not only for myself but for so many who face discrimination, racism, and hate every day. Being the first woman of color on Made in Chelsea came with an unexpected reality—a flood of online hate, judgment, and racism that could have (and tried to) silenced me. But this experience has only reinforced why it’s so important to speak up.

Racism is not just an individual burden; it’s a societal issue that affects the communities, well-being, and self-worth. Staying silent is not an option because silence allows prejudice to persist. By sharing my story, I hope to amplify the message that no one should have to face this alone or feel pressured to hide the pain caused by hate. Speaking up is about reclaiming our voices and fighting for a world where diversity is celebrated, not targeted.

I am deeply grateful to @rebecariofrio_ , @alexdaviesjonesmp and the Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion, and Sports @parliamentary_society for giving me this platform and for their commitment to supporting entertainers like myself. Together, we can turn moments of hardship into catalysts for positive change. Here’s to a future where everyone’s voice is valued and protected.

It’s especially moments like this in life where you have to thank God for giving you the most strength in your hardest moments and better yet giving you glory for your pain. And I have to thank my parents in continuously supporting me and believing in me from the day I was born. I couldn’t be where I am today without the love and protection of God and my family x Love

The most beautiful day at the Epsom Derby yesterday! ✨🏇 Even in the rain!! 🌧️

A huge thank you to the Chairman and Directors of Epsom Downs Racecourse, @thejockeyclub, @epsomdownsracecourse & @greenroomvip for the kind invitation!
My dad has always been a huge fan of horse racing, and with my sister having been a racer herself in her younger days, this felt particularly special. (See slide 4 for a picture of her jumping at age 8!) It was such a fabulous day and without a doubt one of my favourite race days ever!

A little Epsom Derby fact for those who love a bit of history: first run in 1780, it is considered the most prestigious of Britain’s five Classic races and remains the ultimate test for three-year-old thoroughbreds. It was also a firm favourite of Queen Elizabeth II 🤍

What a wonderful day filled with tradition, elegance and incredible racing.

Lastly a thank you to @prestigegrpuk for safely transporting us to and from the event ☺️ because Lord knows it was wildly busy trying to get in and out!
