He’s here! August Ronald Ponchione Thomas joined us on 1/31/2023 at 1:01 a.m. A few days late but also right on time. 🚨Maria Gallucci Birthday Appreciation Post🚨

I met Maria two decades ago in a Poli Sci class, where she explained to me that cashmere the fabric was not the same as Kashmir the region. I knew she was a real one. Most of our college memories have been, thankfully, lost to the Webshots servers and the Pawpurrs dance floor, but our friendship remains top tier.

Every year for our birthdays, we treat each other to a night of theater, where we end up spending too much money on merch and drinking too much wine but only once ended up crying in the Levi’s dressing room. Now, we have kiddos the same age, ushering in the next generation of curly-haired best friends. To know her is to love her. She is smart and funny and kind and generous, and I’m thankful to have her as my partner in curls. 👩🏼‍🦱👩🏽‍🦱💕 by @ladyponch

Ollie’s 2nd birthday party photo dump. 🚗🚕🚒

Ollie loved everything about being the “birthday boy” this year, especially the birthday cake (1), which he was very protective over and focused on. (2) My mom and dad did everything for this party, including making toddler-sized replicas of Ollie’s beloved yellow car. (3) Like a true Libra, Ollie loved being around his family and cried when the party was over. (4) Ollie and Leo before they “beep, beep, beeped” through the neighborhood. (5) Ollie has a need for speed, which we didn’t know about until now because we’re helicopter parents. (6) Rare family photo 🧑🏼‍🦱👩🏼‍🦱🧑🏻 (7) Throwback to our our first few days together, a peaceful yet sleep-deprived time when I was on curl watch 24/7.

When that first taste of birthday cake hits. 🥰 Happy Birthday, Ollie! Love this little guy more than anything.

Parenting is easy. Your life doesn’t change, you get to sleep as long as you want, you never frantically google “baby poop normal” at 3 am, and your camera roll isn’t exclusively baby content sprinkled in with Succession memes. He’s our number 1 boy! 😏😉 by @ladyponch
