| Main Character Energy |

Black and white because the DRAMA deserves its own lighting. 🖤🤍🎭

The posture? Immaculate.

The presence? Unmatched.

The ability to look unbothered while mentally counting 87 different things? Elite.

Drum majors, the camera loves you. But we all know the real personality comes out when rehearsal ends. 😂

👇 Tag the drum major with the BIGGEST main character energy.

| You see a costume. Somewhere on that field, a kid sees their person.

I don’t know this dad’s story or journey. But you don’t show up dressed like this unless you’re committed to bringing a smile to your kiddo’s face.

And when there’s a little extra time during setup, before the first note, before everything demands their attention, performers get a moment to look into the stands.

When they do, they look for you.

Sometimes they find a ridiculous costume. Sometimes a handmade sign. Sometimes just a familiar face in the seat they were hoping you’d fill.

They may barely acknowledge you. A tiny wave. A quick smile. Please don’t expect enthusiastic public affection; there are friends watching.

But they saw you.

They saw that you gave them something you can’t get back: your time.

It might take years for them to understand what it took to be there. The rearranged shift. The long drive. The things you left unfinished.

For some, seeing you is a comfort they’ve come to expect. For others, finding that one person in the crowd is what helps them take the next breath and begin.

You don’t have to wear a sun costume to make someone’s day brighter.

Although this dad has certainly raised the bar.

Performers, who did you always look for in the stands? Tell us about them or tag the person you want to thank for showing up.💛 |
