My scars define me.#they speak the truths I cannot vocalize. They show the world that I fight and I win. They are the plaques I carry around with me every second.Yesterday my brother reminded me that despite my injection scars, the weight gain and everything going on, I am still That Girl!I cannot remember the last I looked at myself in the mirror. I gave away my entire wardrobe and changed everything to maxis.I hide my body from myself and the world. “Please don’t see my scars”“Please don’t ask me weird questions “That’s daily mantra.I locked myself off from everyone because I’m tired of saying “I’m fine” when people ask, because I truly am not.I am also tired of saying “it’s hard. I feel terrible” because people don’t want to hear that.My brother said- “disregard any bias because I’m your brother. You are a gorgeous woman and usually the best looking in any room you walk into”I know he’s capping because there’s definitely bias, but it made my hurting soul smile a bit and made me believe again that one day, this would be a story of triumph that I tell.P. My babies were honored in school a few weeks ago. Harry-Zander was made class counselor (similar to class prefect here), and Alessio was awarded for being the kindest in his class.To encourage them, I asked what they’d want as a gift.Harry-Zander asked for a walkie talkie for both of them.#they got them yesterday and their excitement makes it all worth it.#funtie by @ladytheodorathe3rd

On Thursday, I pitched Ichötà to a room full of investors at the Lifted Ventures Demo Day.I won’t lie, I was nervous. But the moment I started talking about why I built @ichotaofficial , everything else faded away. It stopped feeling like a pitch and started feeling like telling a story I know by heart.Walking off that stage to such a warm reception is a moment I’ll hold onto for a long time.The last six months have stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve questioned myself, rewritten decks more times than I can count, practised pitches until I started to recite them in my sleep, and learnt that building a company is just as much about growing as a person as it is about building a product.One of the biggest highlights, though, has been the women I got to share this journey with. From the Leeds founders to the Manchester cohort, thank you for the laughs, the honesty, the encouragement, the voice notes, the reality checks, and for cheering each other on every step of the way. A day out in Leeds for ClimbUK 2026 with my Bruntwood SciTech incubator girls! ✨Came for the business strategy, stayed for the beautiful, deep, human connections (and the chance to wear this fit, obviously).Started the day with coffee (You already know this, no? Okay.)Chatted with Lauren Curwen from “Sister” and left my absolute favorite piece of advice on her board: Leave nothing on the table. A reminder to take up space, back yourself, and grab every single opportunity.Stepped into a simulated phone booth by Professor Karina Croucher (Uni of Bradford / “Grief Limited”) to have a conversation with my best girl who passed away. Such a beautiful, moving project to help build a grief-literate society. ❤️Got into a random Polestar with Rayna, Yasmin and Karina (this was the most random thing ever!) 😂Lost network and could not get an Uber back to the station.
