When ppl try to control ur body, self expression and agency, it’s proof you are free.

I wasn't even going to go to the Beyoncé ball 😭 (hosted by the parents of the Haus of Renaissance). I was in the middle of a move, stressed and depleted, and I changed my mind twice but I went anyway. I leaned on my Kiki family and friends, minded my business, and had time to get in my zone. Somehow I knew it would work out and then it graciously went even better than I expected. I had fun!! Did you?

Last week I didn't plan my week. I picked one thing, my morning routine, and let everything else be what it was. I moved, I walked a ball, I slept on the floor, and I still closed the week at 100%. What's the one thing you protect when life gets loud? by @ladyw87

My to-do list used to run me.
Then I switched to 4 blocks: Deep Work, Strategic, Freedom, Buffer.

Burnout isn't a self-care problem. It's a systems problem.

Despite everything going on right now.. moving, starting a business, packing, event planning... I still made time to prep for this ball.

My sister @justcagzmierpooh is throwing a Thriller Night (Michael Jackson themed) ball, and I showed up and showed out as best as I could.

This was my much needed creative outlet this week.

Got on called on stage to hype the crowd up for vogue night.

I ate. This crowd was unreal.

When the moment calls you up, deliver.

He was holding his entire dog walking business in his head. Every client, every rate, every day.

Week 1 of Year 4 is done.
Execution score: 85%.
Not everything got checked off, and it was still a good week.

Swipe through what made it possible, and what I'm carrying into week 2.

I got laid off recently. And for the first time in years, really ever, I'm not scrambling to figure out who I'm allowed to be while someone else signs my paycheck.

For a long time I kept parts of myself split across different rooms. The corporate room got the filtered version (but still always myself, period). The lit version stayed more private, just in case. Didn't want to get caught up and jeopardize my livelihood.

Chile, that's done. I'm building this beautiful life, exciting pivot and opportunity on my own terms, all of me, every version, every adventure, every skill, on every platform. 🔥
I'd rather be seen as fully free 💗 than perfect and pleasant.
