REMINDER.

“GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY.”

CONTEXT ~ in late August, I had the pleasure of performing @songsandsonnets2026 in @breezeblockbrixton . I was accepted by a room full of fellow artists and attendees that came to the event. This was one of my favourite performances to date. Shortly after my set, I was awe in the reception that I received, standing outside w. @maryjanesbrother_gothacked , going over what just happened, one of the people (@vuyomse ) in attendance decided to come over to us and show love. Then, while we were conversing another person started recording the whole interaction and showed us the video after! This video serves as a reminder to me that my biggest obstacle is ME.

And, I’ve been trying to “GET OUT OF MY OWN WAY” since then.

Now, watch what happens next.

P.S THANK YOU to the @songsandsonnets2026 community for the platform 🙏🏾❤️. taken in 2086 by @laezy.i

closure.

what is closure?
what does it look like?
is it peaceful?
is it turbulent?
why do we often seek closure before we let go?
