WOAHHH HEY LOUISIANA FFA!!

My name is Hayden Navarre and boy oh boy I am ecstatic. I am incredibly honored to serve as your Louisiana FFA State Vice President Representing Good old Area 3!!

I am a recent graduate of Rayne High School and I’ll be attending Mcneese State University in the fall for agriculture education. Outside of the blue jacket, I was a big part of my high schools music department, student council, student government, and always doing something with my community.

One thing about me is I have ALWAYS loved quotes, I’m pretty sure I have a quote for just about anything… “The light you carry isn’t meant to make others see you, it’s meant to help others see themselves.” I am so so SO excited to meet and spend time with all 14,000 of you and i hope that this year of service isn’t just my experience but ours.

And if there’s one promise I can make to each of you it’s that no matter how dark the road or uncertain the path, WE will be the light and together, Louisiana FFA, we’ll shine brighter than ever.

Until next time…

For almost six years, FFA has been more than an organization to me. It has been my home and my purpose. As I retire my jacket, I know that it meant more than just the words “association” on the back. That jacket brought me so much peace, joy and love.
For so long, FFA has been woven into every part of my identity. It has shaped my goals, friendships, values, and the person I am. It taught me how to lead when I was uncertain, how to serve others before myself, and how to find confidence in places I never thought possible. Through countless miles traveled, hands shaken, lessons learned, and memories made, FFA has given me more than I could ever repay.

As I hang up my jacket for the final time, it honestly feels like I’m hanging up a piece of my life. For years, I always knew what came next. There was another contest, another convention, another chapter visit, another opportunity to serve. Now, for the first time in a long time, I find myself simply wondering where I go from here. And while that uncertainty is intimidating, I know it exists because of how deeply I loved this journey.

To every member, advisor, supporter, teammate, mentor, and friend who became part of my story, thank you. Thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and reminding me why this organization matters. You have left handprints on my heart that will remain long after this jacket is retired.

FFA taught me that leadership is not about titles or jackets. It is about service, character, and the impact we leave on others. Those lessons will stay with me long after this chapter closes.

Today, I leave with a heart that is incredibly full and incredibly broken at the same time. Full of gratitude for everything this organization has given me, and broken because saying goodbye to something that has meant so much is never easy.

No matter where life takes me next, a piece of my heart will always belong to the blue jacket. 💙💛

Weeks like these remind me why I’m so fortunate to wear this blue Jacket! 💙💛

Over the past week I was able to travel over our state to celebrate the great accomplishments of different chapters throughout our states association.

On 4/29 I traveled to Sam Houston where I was blown away by the amazing individuals that showcase exactly what it means to be a leader in our organization!💜💛

On 5/5 I went to Tioga, not only celebrate the end of a chapter for a teammate but to celebrate a community that has become another home to me! ❤️🤍

And lastly on 5/7 I attended Florien FFA’s banquet to celebrate all the amazing accomplishments of their chapter. I will always say Florien FFA deserves to be broadcasted nationwide for the incredible things they do in our organization! 💛🖤 by @laffa_vpiii

Yesterday was the start of my FAVORITE week of the year! National FFA week!
This week gives us the opportunity to broadcast and highlight the incredible things members of our organization are able to do!
Starting off the week with SAE Sunday where we can give everyone a closer look into our supervised agriculture experience!
I’m so fortunate enough for my SAE to be Student Advisor! In my home chapter I’m able to use my leadership skills, communication skills, and knowledge of our organization in order to guide my fellow members and travel around advocating for what I love!

Happy national FFA week!💛💙 #saesunday #nationalffaweek by @laffa_vpiii

This past Wednesday I was so fortunate enough to attend the annual Brodeo event at the Burton in memorial of Brody Meaux! I was also endlessly grateful to able to dress up as Jessie from Toy Story. Watching those sweet babies faces light up was truly so heart warming!

I want to extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Joanne Meaux and her Husband for hosting this event and allowing me to be a part of it! by @laffa_vpiii

On January 7th, my team and I were fortunate enough to join the 4-H state officers and tour the great land of the tigers! We were able to meet with professors and University officials who educated us on all things LSU! Truly what a beautiful program we have here in the Boot! Thank you LSU for this opportunity!🐅 by @laffa_vpiii
