October so far ~ music that speaks to the soul, wonderful neighbors, and a heart full of thanks. Still replaying that classical night with one of my top 5 singers, Andrea Bocelli 🥹🙌🏾🤎

Don’t have words yet, but I can say this: A BIG thank you to my village and New York is done and dusted! More updates to come, but for now, it’s all about sleep mode…and trying not to dream about the Queensboro Bridge. Whoever designed that thing had no mercy in mind! 🥴#NYCMarathon #queensborobridge #secondmarathon #tcsnycmarathon #newyork by @lafleurrose1

🥀Just a wildflower dancing to the beat of my own drum. A little wild, a little unpredictable, and perfectly okay with that. And what a blessing it is to embrace it all 💃🏽

Oktoberfest, Munich, 2026 🍺🥨🍗🌭🦄🇩🇪

In the midst of a year full of ups and downs, I traveled to Munich to tick off another dream from my bucket list: experiencing the Oktoberfest, and it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life.

Beer, bretzels (with a “b”), sausages, Country Roads, Sweet Caroline, and Angels, all sung at the top of our lungs with friends and strangers alike.

The experience wouldn’t have been the same without my former MBA classmates, and now friends: one WhatsApp message was all it took to get us together in Germany.

🫣 The 6 phases of Oktoberfest

📱 Phase 1: It all starts with a message in the WhatsApp group chat. Thanks, @diegocordobap!

✈️ Phase 2: Convince yourself that booking a flight to Munich is a perfectly reasonable life decision

🏡 Phase 3: Book the most FUN Airbnb because apparently, we’re doing this properly… even though sleep is optional! @atena_cristina found a gem!

🍻Phase 4: Day 1 — Show up at Oktoberfest full of confidence with the friends we made the night before… only to spend more time in line than at the festival! NEIN was the answer, so we PIVOTED!

💃🏾 Phase 5: Rent the full Bavarian outfit because GO BIG OR GO HOME!

🥨🍻Phase 6: Day 2 — Mission accomplished! Wake up early (lessons were learned 🤣), FINALLY find a table, raise those steins, turn strangers into besties, and sing German songs with absolutely ZERO understanding of the lyrics

🦃 Moral of the story: Sometimes the best adventures start with a WhatsApp message and a little questionable decision-making… and buying that turkey hat? The BEST financially irresponsible decision of the entire trip!

🥳 WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!

🍻 Prost! Bis zum nächsten mal! 🇩🇪

They said, “follow ton cœur”
Mine apparently had plans to join my fun-stable friends in Munich 🤪

Prost! 🥨🍻

What a beautiful week celebrating one of my favorite people, surrounded by some pretty amazing people 🤍

BRITTRANY (🙃), watching you step into this new chapter was so special. You were the easiest, most beautiful bride…even as we pivoted with the rain. I’m so grateful you trusted me with the decor, flowers, and all the little details that helped bring your vision to life.

After all the waiting, seeing you marrying your person made my heart so full. You deserve every bit of this love and happiness.

Here’s to Mr. & Mrs. Valor! 🥹💍🥂

A little older, a little wiser, and a heart still full of dreams ✨

Cheers to another year around the sun! And apparently, birthday races are kinda fun…who knew I’d run faster?! Guess the knees aren’t aging with me ☺️💕

About last weekend ☺️

Another Beat the Heat 5K done! Tommy ghosted us with his casual 9-minute pace while holding the flag. @chezshieh and I took our time, solved a few world problems, and survived the 98° heat. Then we watched pro athletes casually run a 15-minute 5K… yeah, we’re clearly built different.

Rain, storm, or shine, we run for fun, not for time. I’m just happy to be running again, enjoying summer, and making memories with run club.

Sometimes, the smallest rituals are exactly what we need. I didn’t know a weekly bouquet would bring me so much joy. I needed this fresh smiles this week 😍
