Here we go again…

The new alias is in full swing, with three new tracks landing soon.

It feels good making music that’s properly in line with the sound I love, alongside co-running Cymatic Records with Mark - and getting to work with my best pal Darko and Adel again.

All three have that distinct dubby sound… but which one’s making your Beatport purchase list?

Hopefully all three haha.

Have a listen and drop a ❤️ if you’re vibing with this sound.

Peace x

New mess about in the studio of late playing with the wonderful @rolandglobal TR6s drum machine with a few custom sounds loaded up.

Top right corner (pink machine) is the quality @behringer Edge which is pretty much a replica of the MOOG DFAM. Have that custom patch just bringing in a nice Tom loop over the main melody.

Bass made on the @weareelektron DIGITONE 1 which is right next to the TR6S drum machine

Master midi clock is Logic Pro and have 2 instances of serum going through the @wearenovation Beatstep Pro utilising both sequencers.

Sooo Yeah! Who is feeling this one??? This is the new sound under the new alias which will be focussing on the dubby more minimal deep house sound.

Big love gang!

So lots happening behind the scenes but this is a quick update on where we are!

Mark and I are still good friends but as you can see by the video things needed to take some downtime while we both adjust our priorities and sort our lives out really! @syntra_uk is still going but will be not as frequent as it once was. Unfortunately the music scene is pretty FUCKED and it’s taken a couple of things to happen recently to push us to the edge of giving up… luckily we don’t get broken that easily 😉😆.

We really appreciate everyone that supported us through the good and the bad and to everyone that has been on this journey with us so far! We will let you all know where to catch us next! Talking of which, Exeter Move Nightclub, August 15th with @darrenemersonmusic @aubreyfrymusic and @timfrenchdj for @connectedwithmusic 🙌🕺

Other news!
Check out the new label @lumirarecordings where both @unknown.vibezz93 and I will be sharing our passion for the more Deep & Melodic House music❤️🎶. If you want to get involved hit up Marci.

Expect lots more attention on Lafreq and my new Alias which will be focussing on Deep Dub Techno, Deep Dubby House and possibly a bit of Minimal. More on that later 😅.

I’m a fucking Dad! Who would of thought it 😅

Much love gang and speak soon ❤️

James

Yes Plymouth! We’ll be rolling through next Friday for this one. Thank you Tim for giving us the call up, can’t wait to hear what you drop on the night.

We’ve heard nothing but positive comments about Cosmic Kitchen so we can’t wait to check it out. We’ll be keeping it Deep House and groovy on the outside terrace before we head inside to the club room to get a dance on.

🎫 there’s a couple free tickets left via Fatsoma then it’s £5/6.50 after that. Link in bio. See ya soon! taken in Cosmic Kitchen by @lafreq_uk

We’ve busy racking up those studio hours again producing tracks with the soul purpose of trying to create ‘moments’ on the dance floor.

We’d love to know in the comments - which slide you’d like to hear more of?

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps for a while now… but it’s time to let this one out.

Syntra (UK) is no more.

Introducing: Synstraw (UK) 🌾

After years in Progressive House, we’ve decided to follow our true calling - Progressive Folk. We always did love a more organic sound, so keep an eye out at your local pie fair for us.

We’ve been rinsing so many of the @spiritual_enhancer_records tracks in our sets this past year so we’re properly excited to be joining the team!

They’re a sub-label of the mighty Brazilian @transensations_records and have been pushing a more forward-thinking progressive sound that really resonates with us - trancey, progressive, deep, emotional, and powerful on the dance floor.

Big-up to @djgorkiz for supporting us. We’ll drop some previews of the tracks soon ✌️ by @lafreq_uk
