I used to be so scared to work with bright colors when I started painting. I’ve seen other artists online recommend this book. Even if I do not have a full concept of a painting yet I will flip through the book for inspiration. I think it’s made some of my previous paintings pop. The dictionary of color combinations can be found on Amazon btw.

This one was fun. This fish had a lot of colors going on. I want to continue doing these until my sketchbook is full.

This one I was messing around to see if I could do scales with a smaller brush. Didnt turn out how I wanted but still a fun piece.

I never really painted fruit so this was fun practice. My colors could be better but I like how this turned out overall. Going to try another fruit on Thursday.

I should’ve made the castle smaller but oh well. This was a fun challenge just before the weekend. Going to start shifting towards working on INKTOBER. More to come. ❤️
