🇳🇬🎮 LAGOS LIFE: CELEBRATING THE GIRL WHO MADE HISTORY AND THE MAN WHO BELIEVED IN HER DREAM!

7 MILLION PLAYERS IN 10 DAYS! 36.5 MILLION GAME VISITS! $500,000 IN INVESTMENT! A $10 MILLION VALUATION! 🚀🔥

And this may just be the beginning!

When young Nigerian game developer Shalom Rayhamen launched Lagos Life on October 1, 2026, little did the world know how quickly her creativity would capture millions of hearts.

In just ten days, the game, inspired by everyday life in Lagos, reportedly recorded:

🎮 Over 7 million players
🌍 More than 36.5 million game visits
🔥 Over 1.4 million daily active players
👥 Over 64,000 concurrent players
💰 $500,000 in investment
💎 An impressive $10 million startup valuation!

But as we celebrate Shalom and this incredible achievement, there's another person whose story deserves the spotlight.

👏 Chibueze Ikedichukwu Ukaegbu, Founder and CEO of LearnFactory Nigeria.

Long before the millions of players, the investment and the global attention, there was a young girl with a passion for technology and a man who believed in giving young people a chance.

Through LearnFactory in Aba, Abia State, Ukaegbu and his team provided Shalom with free technology training, mentorship and a platform to develop her skills.

For over a decade, he has quietly dedicated himself to opening doors for young Nigerians who have the talent and determination but may not have the resources or opportunities.

Today, Shalom's success is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when someone believes in your potential and gives you room to grow.

At the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), we celebrate Shalom Rayhamen for bringing Nigerian creativity, culture and everyday experiences to millions through gaming.

And we proudly celebrate Chibueze Ukaegbu, the visionary who saw potential, invested in people and helped build the foundation for stories like this to happen.

Because sometimes, changing the world begins with simply giving someone a chance.

And with Lagos Life already attracting millions of players and significant investment, who knows how far this Nigerian success story will go? The possibilities are enormous, and its full potential is by @lagoslifeapp

What can a game teach you about building a business? Well, more than you think.

So we looked at five lessons from @lagoslifeapp worth discussing, whether you're a developer, entrepreneur, designer, or someone with an idea you've been sitting on for months.

Now, be honest: what's stopping you from building that beautiful idea in your head?

Time? Skills? Money? Or waiting for it to be perfect?

🏦 OFFICE OF THE CBN GOVERNOR — POLICY UPDATE

Fellow Lagos Lifers, our administration is pleased to announce a new set of financial policies designed to promote economic stability, encourage business growth, and build a safer, more accountable economy.

1. TAX REDUCED TO 7.5% : We’re lowering the tax rate to 7.5% to ease the burden on businesses and individuals, encourage spending, and give economic activity more room to grow. (VIP tax still applies)

2. ACCOUNTABILITY FOR UNEXPLAINED WEALTH: The EFCC will continue investigating the sources of unexplained trillions circulating in the economy. Legitimate wealth has nothing to fear; financial accountability protects us all.

3. STRICTER BUSINESS CAPITAL LIMITS: Business capital caps will be more strictly enforced, including for high-capital players like Handy. This will promote fairer competition and help prevent excessive concentration of financial power.

4. BUILD YOUR FINANCIAL CREDIT: Users are encouraged to build consistent transaction streaks with other users. These streaks will help establish social and financial credibility and build integrity, consistency, and healthier financial relationships.

Our goal is simple: a more stable naira, a fairer business environment, responsible financial activity, and more opportunities for everyone to thrive.

We promised to get to work. Consider this work officially underway.

OSASBABY’S CBN: Building trust. Strengthening the economy. Securing our financial future. 🇳🇬🏦 by @lagoslifeapp
