💧Cocoons💧
I've been painting these for 6 years now, like tiny little storms where I trap all my anxiety and the weight of the world and all the noise... They are as random as they are intentional...

Last year, I finally got to make my own linocut stars, after seeing the brilliantly talented @maarit.hanninen make hers a few years back.
I remember when I ordered my first print from her, she enclosed a little lino paper ornament to cut out and build yourself 🖤 and it reminded me of the paper or ornaments I used to spend hours making on some afternoons doing crafts and thought it was a gorgeous attention.
And last year, I decided to make some paper stars for family and friends too. 🖤

If you've ever wondered what it's like living with a neuro-developmental disorder, it could be waking up in the morning having work to do, going to make a cuppa tea to start the day but instead : make a banana bread cause otherwise the bananas will go to waste, draw 2 sets of stories thumbnails, deep clean the kitchen, tile some of the wall, disinfect all the bins, try out a new wood spray, think about embossing gold foil, walk for two hours with your dog to get your focus back in order to start working, stop walking every 6 minutes to reply to emails that have been piling up, get caught in the rain, run home, clean s**t off your dog, bring your neighbour half the banana bread, do some of the NYTimes puzzles, finally make a cup of tea and realize it's 10:00pm and you haven't done any of the work you were supposed to do or replied to any messages. Feel guilty about that. Wonder if you should start taking down wallpaper to put the new one up to make the guilt go away and wake up with a new wall 🤷
So... Yeah... That's what it's like pretty much everyday, for like... ever 🫨😊🫨

But I have pretty thumbnails on @rebeccavaughancosqueric so 🥳

Hello everyone ✨
How is everyone doing?
I have been very absent from my networks (and probably will continue to be a little bit) as there have been many changes in my life for the past 2 years... And I have too much work out there to be able to post regularly on social media, which quite honestly is delightful 🌞
But I had a bit of time in between TV sets so I wanted to make something that nobody commissioned me for, which was a rare occurrence for a while. So here it is, my shrine to ⭐🌟✨ @marmite ⭐🌟✨
Most people I know absolutely hate it, BUT I LOVE IT. It tastes like childhood memories, my trips to visit my granny and my grandad & other granny in England, sunny breakfasts in our rue des cloutiers appartment in La Rochelle when I was little...

Truth is I wanted to change bits of my house decor and wanted a massive poster above my couch, and couldn't find what I wanted... So I made it 🤣

🦑This year, I printed most of my decorations, took the time to make things for my friends and family, reconnected with lino and drawing, and even made my own wrapping paper WITH ALL SORTS OF DOGGOS BECAUSE 🐕🐶🐾🐩❤️❤️❤️❤️
It felt amazing to make things again, to spend hours by the water, carving each little line carefully... Here's to much more of this this year, a few exciting things are coming ❤️

✨BAUBLES✨
✨It can't describe how it feels to be carving again.
I don't know how long it'll last but I'm enjoying it while it's here.
I wanted to make some decorations this year and I'm so happy with how these wooden baubles came out ✨

I've been carving and printing Christmas decorations for a few days now and tonight, I thought I'd use the scraps and free carve something to make a little garland.
Needed a little light to make my heart a little lighter....

Iiiiiit's day 5 and probably the last for a while, because i'm back at work, but I'm pretty happy with this 😅

@inktober Day 5 : Binoculars
.
If an episode of @heartstopper
took place at the opera for some reason, I sure hope Nick would have binoculars to look through...
Only common sense 😁

(This is not going to last, I'm going back to work soon and this will only have been a dreaaam but it's lovely to draw again).
.
Day 4 of @inktober is : 𝕰𝖝𝖔𝖙𝖎𝖈
.
Yes, yes, I, know, but I really don't like him. And for everyone's information, I didn't set fire to him, he self combusted. So...
