Some time ago, a kind of friend told me that I chise to be sad, because I cheated myself, choosing a life that was not mine.
They were pointing at my choice of having a family, move to another country, and still trying to make music and being myself. I was sad because I was frustrated, they said.

I was actually sad at that time, I was bourning out.
I haven’t been cheating myself, I was just having two jobs, waking up at 3am, two kids, one very young, and we were just coming out of the pandemic.

I’d like to tell this person, today - that I might have taken a little more time to come back to myself, but I have never cheated on anyone, especially myself.
We are many things: like Persephonis, we might go undeground and then rise again, but we are still One.

We are “mothers, lovers, brides”, sometimes three in one, sometimes one at time.

There are “things” that we’ll never be and things that we will always be.

I am still the restless, crazy lover of 15 years ago… by @lagulisano
