@deoron Copenhagen opens tomorrow.

TRE bench is finished in a burgundy brown colorway. Seat profiles in @linolie.dk linseed oil satin wood finish. The dark tone brings the grain of the pine to life.

The bench starts with a single diagonal cut through a pine beam. Two identical profiles, no material waste. The geometry does the rest.

Also switched from hex screws to thumbscrews, so assembly is now tool-free.

Excited to be showing TRE bench at @3daysofdesign next week, as part of the @deoron exhibition in Copenhagen. The bench is finished in a colorway made for @deoron. Two tones of burgundy brown that bring out the grain of the pine in a way the earlier versions didn’t.

Looking back at Milan Design Week. Kara at Fabbrica del Vapore as part of the ForA Process exhibition — honoured to be in such a good company.

Kara starts with one element: a rounded rail that references the cross-section of a pine log. Everything else follows.
