🎬 WORLD PREMIERE — DANCES WITH FILMS: LA 2026 From Bali to Hollywood. We are proud to announce that BANDIT will make its World Premiere as an Official Selection of Dances With Films: LA 2026, one of the premier festivals dedicated to independent cinema. Following recent coverage in Variety and a sold-out special screening at Balinale, BANDIT continues its festival journey to Los Angeles. Filmed entirely in Bali, BANDIT is a neo-noir crime thriller directed by Brian L. Tan “BLT” and written by Husein M. Atmodjo, whose screenwriting credits include Mencuri Raden Saleh, Sleep Call, and Katarsis. The film stars Roy Sungkono, Wafda Saifan, Claresta Taufan, Rifnu Wikana, Kiki Narendra, Bukie M. Mansyur, Mike Lucock, and Abdurrahman Arif. 📍 TCL Chinese Theatres, Hollywood 📅 June 26, 2026 ⏰ 9:15 PM This film was made with passion, perseverance, and the belief that stories from Indonesia deserve to be seen on the world stage. To our cast, crew, partners, supporters, and audiences—thank you for being part of this journey. With time… With care… And with people who believed Indonesian stories deserved to be seen, LAIFF began with a simple intention: to create space for Indonesian films in Los Angeles. More than a decade later, that small dream has grown into a space for connection, learning, and community. LAIFF continues to exist because of the incredible support from filmmakers, sponsors, partners, film schools, volunteers, audiences, and everyone who has believed in us since day one. Thank you for growing with us and for continuing to believe in what we do. Twelve years later, we’re still here, continuing to share Indonesian stories with the world, one film at a time. #LAIFF by @laiff_org
