Awakening (2026)

working on very sad stories with very good people is always the best time. this was a fuckin blast!!! and I love these people with so much of my heart ♥️

also Moritz my sweet babyboy - it’s not often you get a role that relates so poignantly to your own experience growing up - so this was really special 🤍

Also I did the costuming for this!! And I only spent like $65 of the budget!! And I’m very proud of that!!

SAVED (Grad Play 2025)

This play was a brutal, challenging and incredibly fulfilling project. Much love to the cast and our inimitable director Johann. ♥️

In reading my late grandmother Colleen’s memoir earlier this year, I found out she was offered the role of Pam in the Australian premiere of Saved by Edward Bond in the 1960s. She turned it down.

It seems an ineffable turn of fate to be cast in this same role for my graduation play. By chance, it honours the woman whose spirit I carry with me every single day, whose talent, charm and wit made you believe “the world (was) worth living in after all” (from a review in honi soit) and whose incredible intelligence and passion served as the inspiration my entire childhood for who I wanted to be. She passed her love of language, music, culture and theatre down to me and I am so immensely grateful.
