Every year a delegation from the “Danish association of art therapists” meet for a creative weekend with a speciel guest teacher and subject at beautiful Thorø island.
So great full to be part of this year’s weekend with the great pioneer of art therapy work Helen Hellen Lassen as educator. The subject change processes and the use of the Isenheimer altarpiece / triptykon as inspiration was so great.
Also love to all of you art therapy “sister’s” who was part of the weekend. So great to see you all again 💚 by @lailadevalie

This beautiful textile artwork was made my me and a 12 art therapist colleagues from around Europe as part of EFAT conference in London June 25.
It has now in April been part of the Biennial in San Bernadetto Italy. An exhibition for art therapists doing therapy to arts. by @lailadevalie

Lidt foto af mit Ecoart og craftterapi arbejde i efteråret 2024. Mit efterår - og vinter blev domineret af private udfordringer som krævede den meste tid og derfor blev opslag og sociale medier ikke prioriteret. Som en naturlig del af årets gang blev det mere tilbagetrukket.
Ikke desto mindre har jeg arbejdet på at eksperimentere mere og mere med natur/plantefarver som brug i craft- og naturbaseret Kunstterapi . Og øvelse og læring har fyldt. Her med plantefarvning af garn med skovens og terapihavens farveplanter og brugen af dem på anden vis i ecoprint og det jeg har kaldt ecoarrjournaling. Alt sammen noget jeg skal meget mere af og mere udadvendt i terapeutisk øjemed her i 2025 💚 taken in Zen's Life. Holistisk livskunst Lab for natur, kunst og bevægelsesterapi by @lailadevalie

Thank you so much for all the greetings on my birthday yesterday on fb, WhatsApp, messenger, sms, calls, visits, flowers etc.
I am so overwhelmed and my heart full of gratitude ❤️🙏🏻
I had a nice day at a volontaire job and a walk here in my forest in the frosty weather that I love.
A little celebration with one of my friends and my mother today for lunch and afternoon. 💚🌲☀️ Looking forward to a new year of living. by @lailadevalie

Normally I use my summer to go on dancing retreats etc. (I never travel out of Denmark when it’s summer here) But this summer is a bit different. Life challenges in many ways needs me to stay home. And actually I so much enjoy just to be here in my therapy forest home doing in slow motion. Using a lot of time collecting plants and herbs for food prepping and experimenting colouring for the eco art therapy. And else going out a bit to enjoy spaces and places near by in my beautiful country with good inspiring friends. taken in Denmark by @lailadevalie

Snart er der lovet regn igen så der sankes og sankes. 💚Til skøn saft, marmelade, pesto, the og meget andet og så til plantefarver. Nu er så med at huske hvilke flasker der skal genbruges til saft og hvilke der skal plantefarve i. 🙃 by @lailadevalie

Fra Naturmødet til Naturens møde til møde med Naturen…..
I går var jeg til det årlige træf hos HEG(Human Education group) hvor jeg har taget min naturterapiuddannelse. Og hvilken glæde at træde ind i. Så fint et arrangement til ikke blot at være med natur og bæredygtighed men træde personligt og med andre fagprofessionelle ind i en væredygtighed til endnu mere læring. Fuld af ceremoni, ritualer, egenomsorg, bevidning og meget mere der slet ikke kan sættes ord på. Foruden den gode mad fra kokken, al den skønne faglige sparring med kolleger, gensyn med medstuderende, smukke natur og ja alle de fantastiske mennesker som deltog. Tak til David, Tom, Inger og Sanne for at arrangere og gøre det til det fine det var. 💚 glæder mig hvert år.

I am so so great full for the connection that I have achieved as nature based art therapist and to further cooperation with Latvia. With my art therapy College’s here and the University in Riga. So honoured to be part of this conference as guest teacher at the University in April.

I have never imagined 304 listeners to my talk about forest therapy gardens for nature- craft- and art therapy and more then 100 attending the 3 hour workshop “ How to bring Nature into art therapy and art therapy out in nature - and why?

In the workshop talking about not just the healing benefits of bringing art therapy out and how, but also by bringing more sustainable and nature materials into art and how nature craft can be used in the therapy instead of plastic paint etc.

And so nice also to listen to those of my dear colleagues from our Eco art therapy SIG. In EFAT that attended with all their knowledge too. Jeanette Fiott and Nicky Shaw and feel how we, talking about different issues, could complement each other and create a red thread showing examples of Nature based arts therapy. 🙏🏻💚

I am so great full and so so happy each time i get a little feedback mail from both viewers at my attendance in world art therapy conference and this, saying that I have been to inspiration, amazing learning etc.
So great to create a little circle of networkers that way by sharing

And ..about sharing….. actually I should have talked about my own therapy garden again at the conference in Riga … but. I knew that a lot of therapists and psychologists in arts do not have a forest garden etc as I do and my mission was to say the importance of nature no matter how and where. And maybe some work at a mental hospital or in a jail and then how

So “with a little help from my friends” and heroes that have created green gardens and spaces in nature for healing and therapy in other ways I showed their work too as an …. You can bring in nature and arts as healing every Where and make a difference .
Love this kind of compassion and networking together

2023 har foruden Div workshops mest været et planlægningens år og samarbejdsår både indenfor og udenfor landets grænser. Det har bla betydet at jeg har ændret mit firma fokus og startet Institut op og samtidig har mit arbejde resulteret i flere invitationer som speaker og workshopholder på internationale konferencer. Jeg er meget beæret over denne af årets første konference som er online. Jeg deltager som eneste fra de skandinaviske lande i World art therapy conference 2024. Konferencens emne denne af tre weekender er Ecological models hvor jeg fortæller om det at bringe kunstterapien udenfor og gøre den mere bæredygtig. Det bliver en spændende start på mange naturbaserede og kunstterapeutiske arbejder. Jeg glæder mig til de mange samarbejder. by @lailadevalie
