If you’ve ever been around me for more than a few minutes, you definitely know about my best friend belam!! You have probably heard me talk about how I laugh harder with her than anyone else or how I can share my sadness and she will cry with me. Belam is more than just a best friend to me, she is genuinely like my sister. She always seems to have the right answer. She is wise beyond her years and has a heart that longs to know Christ deeper and fuller each and every day. I’m not quite sure what I would do or who I would be without belam! But I’m so glad I don’t have to! I’m far better because of her friendship to me! Today she is 23!!!!!!!!!!!! Praying this year you continue to see Christ in everything! I LOVE YOU! by @laineydeaks

I truly don’t think there are enough words to describe the impact Bearden Young Life has left on me the past 4 years! Walking with these girls through the ups and downs, laughter and tears, 36 hour bus rides to Colorado, sporting events, big life changes, etc. has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. If you would’ve told high school Lainey that she would be a YL leader, I think she would’ve laughed in your face. But praise God that He has bigger and better plans than we could ever imagine. I know Jesus better because of my high school friends and watching them experience His deep love! The past four years has been some of the most humbling, life giving, transformative, laughter filled years of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Everyone deserves a friend like belam!! I’m just lucky enough to get the real deal!!! Today she is 22!!! And i couldn’t be more thankful for how the Lord has placed her in my life!! She is a friend to all and is such a light in every situation!! Belam teaches me how to be more like Christ every day!! Don’t know what I would do without her!!! Headed to @sharptopcove for the next 3 weeks!! So excited to see what the Lord has in store for this time! Would love prayers for campers as they get to hear the good news!!! Would also love some letters of encouragement, life updates, or just anything! Can’t wait!! #amitoooldtobehere

If you know me, you know how special being a Young Life leader has been to me! You also know how special my high school friends are to me!

This summer! I get the opportunity to take my high school friends to Crooked Creek Ranch!!!! A very thin place where they will get to experience life to the full, pure joy, and so much laughter and adventure!! Most importantly they will get to hear the good news!!!!

However, the cost of camp gets pretty expensive!!! I need YOUR help to get them there!!!! Would you be willing to sponsor me in a Chick-fil-Athon to help lower the costs of camp?!
