From garden to plate, every ingredient has a story…

Last week, we welcomed media and creators to our Field to Fork showcase at Lainston House, celebrating the people, produce and passion behind our food.

Pulling on their gifted @lechameau1927 boots, guests explored the kitchen garden with General Manager Steve and Kitchen Garden Manager Natalie, discovering how the seasons are planned alongside our chefs and how the garden helps shape the menus across our restaurants and cookery school.

There was seed planting with @kentandstowe, @woolpots.uk and @wovenhill.rattan, bouquet making with locally grown blooms from @stemandgreen, garden mojitos, and a fire-cooked feast in The Wellhouse celebrating the very best of local and homegrown ingredients.

The following morning, guests headed to Season Cookery School to cook over @biggreenegg, with trout, bavette steak and peaches taking centre stage.

A beautifully curated event by @bloxhampr, brought to life with the support of some wonderful partners.

ad @lainston_house is so much more than just a place to stay! We had the most perfect night away!

As you arrive you're greeted with the most beautiful heritage bricked house, the smell of woodsmoke & herbs in the air.

This is definitely a food lovers hotel. From The Avenue restaurant with MasterChef: The Professionals champion, Tom Hamblet delivering a fresh take on flavours in the stunning dining room, to The Wellhouse where everything is uniquely cooked on wood fires & smokers with a relaxed and rustic vibe.

In the grounds is their very own kitchen garden, within it sits the outdoor cookery school where you can get stuck in to BBQing or Pizza making, or perhaps you'd prefer the indoor cookery school with their array or different cuisines to try your hand at!

On top of this there is fly-fishing, archery, tennis, croquet & so much more! 62 acres of beauty.
